If I may make one small constructive criticism, please next time run an English-language spell-check over the text part of the presentation; there were a couple of obvious typographical errors (e.g. "shoroud" instead of "shroud") that would have been caught by spell check, and it just looks a little more professional when words are spelled correctly.

Very well done presentation however, the scientific studies of UV light on linen causing instantaneous aging which produced the image was left out. It was 40 billionth of a second burst of intense light in a lab that was directed straight forward and straight out from behind the body. The image is faintest where the Shroud did not touch the body meaning that the Shroud was pulled and taught as the burst of light occurred.

Father, Thank you for the presentation! Please address an issue that can be a key element in identifying the Shroud as the burial cloth of Jesus. I have heard coins were placed over the eyes before burial, as was the custom of the time. The coins used were very specialized for the time, and beyond the scope of any forger. Is this true? If dirt could be identified through testing, then metal coins might also be determined.

A very good explanation of A shroud or burial cloths as used, and found in Jesus tomb. But what happened to them between their discoverer in circa 33 ad and the 1400s when they were displayed in France. I contend that the Shroud of Turin is a cloth used to wrapped Jacques de Molay, Grand Master of the Knights Templar after his torture by the Inquisition. The process of that torture was documented at the time by the priests involved, as a parody of the Christs crucifixion. He was nailed to the door of his cell, by both hands and feet, beaten with a cudgell and whipped with a whip seeded with nails, has a crown of thorns thrust over his scalp. All this to make him confess to heresy. Molay lived through this ordeal, nursed by his wife, to die years later in a bonfire set by the King of France for not revealing the where about of the Templars mythical, no existent treasure. BTW I am a Christian, and a Knight Templar.

I thought people were not to worship false idols? How can someone be an associate professor of made up stuff? Technically a priest who is a scholar would have a biased outlook on any processes in actually determining the origins of said cloth. And in reality he would have to choose one or the other.
