In my situation- "new supply" is often someone totally unaware of what they are stepping into. They are usually open minded and receptive and eager for a "good" experience. This is an unsettling stage and some supply falls off more quickly or they get scared off. Some new supply get promoted to stations of empathetic enabler, flying money, or subserviant puppet. At any point however these same people can be devalued if something shinier or more promising comes along. At times I will say I was thankful to be put on a shelf while someone else got the hammer. I didn't have to be the center of attention and that was okay... because we all know the real star has to be the narcissist and the featured pet. I think the Narcissist could be meaner to the next round of supply because they are tapped out on wearing that mask. They burned through and tortured all the people that were willing to give them passes and excuses- and that makes them more brazen and sloppy. Those empathetic souls take years to groom... they destroy them too. Everyone becomes the receptacle or dumping ground for the narcissist's mental puke. Narcissists throw away their blessings! Over and over again.... Even old discarded supply are absolutely mystified and hurt by what they experienced- and they are still in the fog. Still- in the- fog....

My ex cruised dating sites right in front of me! He laying on couch, me on recliner at an angle behind him. I called him out, “You shopping for a new girlfriend?”. He pretended he was looking at spam email, “I don’t know where this stuff comes from”. 😒 I watched him a good 5 minutes before calling him out. I look back and see this cycle from the narcs past relationships. How they used, humiliated, depleted, destroyed, and crushed past relationships. He is right, Its definitely a cycle. I don't feel sorry for her except she is a widow and is now doing everything for my husband buying him clothes and shoes, taking him on holiday, lending him money. I also hate myself as I feel like an accomplis. Because of my addiction and grooming from age 17. I can't let go, I am aware which is more than I have been in for 48 years now. I am becoming educated. He has moved out and is living with her and we have been dating, hence why I say I am his accomplis, I know he is lying to her but once a week I get that love bomb which I crave. Although I am almost ready to plant my flag on top of Mount Indifference, there are still times when I slide back down the mountain side a bit……thinking it was something I did………what am I missing………..etc.., when in fact, it is very likely that the new supply has gone through the disgard already, and the narcissist is going through the circular file of old supply to see if there are any still road-worthy in there. Normally, I am a very sympathetic, loving person. The encounter with the narcissist has made me set boundaries for self-protection. This was a very hard thing to do, because I tend to blame myself for failed relationships. Not at all true in this case. And, by realizing what narcissistic abuse is, my self-esteem rose up to where it needed to be in order to recognize these abusers. I am still climbing to complete recovery, almost there, I will not quit til I reach the top of the mountain. Thank you Andrew. You are the lifeline I needed to keep going to full recovery. I did not have a clue what narcissism is. I just felt like I was being pushed out of a clique, you know, high-school-style. FF to today, I'm divorcing my husband after 13 years. I’m so glad I found you Andrew. I never realized that my husband was a narcissist until just recently. I found out he was having an affair behind my back for an entire year and still, such a big hearted person I was, I gave him another chance. He led me on and gave me false hope only to realize he wanted her back. After ghosting me for almost a week, I got a text from him saying he got back together with the girl. It made me realize that I was not valued as a wife, as a regular human being. My emotions never mattered because he always wanted to be the center of attention and for people to feel petty for him. She was able to give him new supply, something I wasn’t able to give him because that’s not me. I am different. I gave him my all, I would push family members to accommodate him. I left my school so he can finish his. He would end up in the hospital and I was always there. Even starting a family together. And still he went on his own path and went looking for that new supply. I surrendered him to the lord and He will deal with my husband. I am moving forward with our son and heal from within me to be more stronger and more wiser than ever. Thank you Andrew! ❤️

Why do all his new supplies (3, so far) keep calling me for advice on how to make him love them???? I told them all, "Why are you asking ME?? I obviously failed! He discarded me after 24 years of marriage and a daughter he turned against me!" Well, thanks to your channel, Andrew, and similar channels as well, I now know why. *I WAS THE ULTIMATE SUPPLY WHO MADE HIS LIFE EASY AND MADE HIM LOOK RICH/SUCCESSFUL.* I come from a wealthy family. I am college educated. I'm intelligent, smart, and confident. I can hold a conversation with anyone. I run in the best social circles. I have a good work ethic, in that I don't rely on my family's wealth; I work hard to create my own wealth. I have a strong moral compass; I have integrity. I'm compassionate and giving. NONE of his new supplies had *all of that in one package.* As an aging narcissist, his prospects were getting slimmer and slimmer. *It is so true that the aging narcissist will find that the only fruit available to him are the low-hanging fruit.* NEW SUPPLY #1: Was the one he discarded me for after 24 years of marriage. He was 42. She was a 22-yr-old, part-time server, going to college, still living with her parents, and an ALCOHOLIC. 😅 She was lower middle-class, had brothers in prison, and a gold-digger. Oh, she was also a NARCISSIST. LOL! After he went broke giving her everything she asked for, she left him for a richer MARRIED man. He had to file for bankruptcy. Of course he asked me to take him back; I said "HELL NO!" NEW SUPPLY #2: Uneducated, zero table manners (she ate with her feet on her seat), low-income, Borderline Personality Disorder/violent psycho. Super crazy-jealous. Control freak. He was 48. That ended with a Vegas wedding, huge fight on their wedding night, and him filing for an annulment the NEXT DAY. Of course he asked me to take him back; I said "HELL NO!" NEW SUPPLY #3: OMG! THE PENULTIMATE PSYCHO, BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER, PHYSICALLY VIOLENT, SUPER JEALOUS, GOLD-DIGGING, MANIPULATIVE NARCISSIST ON THIS PLANET!! He was 60; she was 45 with 5 children. No college degree, poverty-level, non-English-speaking, physically violent, no social graces, gold-digger, criminal-minded, fisherman's wife. Shunned by his family. They had to get a TRO against her, coz she's threatened them so many times! Today, he and her are embroiled in several lawsuits, all filed by her. She wants to take him to the cleaners based on "spousal abandonment." AKA, he fled because he couldn't take the physical abuse anymore! She also filed for alimony, which is rich because their marriage was bigamous! She taught him to falsify legal documents so they could get a marriage license! He's 67 now, facing prison time for bigamy. Of course he asked me to take him back; I said "HELL NO! Not evenif youwere the last man on earth!!" I have no sympathy for him. Especially after the cruel way he discarded me and our daughter. ME -- the ultimate supply; I had it all. That's why he ke kept asking me to take him back; all his low-hanging-fruit new supply screwed him. Left him broke and homeless. AND THEN HE TOLD ME THIS: "Can we just forget the past and start over?" SPOKEN LIKE A TRUE NARCISSIST! "NO NO NO NO NO!! GET AWAY FROM ME," I SAID.

Under all those totally 12 years with the covert narc I catch them all - his new mistress and other supplies. It was multiple of them and it took me a couple of year to understand that he was (and is) also a sex addicted. I was snared cause I am a empath and that time I also was co-dependent. I learnt so much of detective work - at his computer and even at his mobile phone that I could start to job at CIA/FBI but he always denie the evidence but I know and present them every time. He was in in chock I think that I could now so much about his escapades. Mostly those women disappeared when I called them but twice I find the narc in our bed ... with 2 years between those times with the same woman and she said to me: It's so complicated and he had lied to her that he was scared of me, that I was crazy etc. and that they both should be married bla bla bla. My godness - we where NOT married or even engaged or have kids together?! So there was nothing complicated more than HE has lying to her and cheated me. That second time I found them in bed was early morning and we did not live in the same flat so I went to him after I had been at hospital at about 7 AM and my mother has died that night. I left him at once - cause it was the same woman and he KNOW that I has been with my dying mother - it was a disgusting thing to do to me We have at that time being together for 10 years. Then I was single for four years but he hoover me in again for two years but this time I was more awake and educated of narcissism to see that it really was a mistake and that he also do the same thing with other mistress so I left him again. Today after 1 year 9 month since I left him - for ever this time - I don't feel nothing when I think about it and I suppose that I am the only woman who has discarded him twice in our bed but also humiliated him multiple times in front of multiple other woman (his mistress) than nobody else has did 😂And STILL the narc are trying to hoover me 🤮But I have got NC everywhere so he can't reach me anymore. Be very careful with the 40+ year old party girl/boy especially when they have to do it without you half the time and they have a single friend or family member they go out with. New supply was a casual friend of mine and I now know she was also a narc. As you said the relationship was in progress before the discard and advertised on social media within a week of my discard. I didn’t even have time to tell anyone. In the meantime 7 mos later she dumped him. Narc vs narc. I’m happy though because it kicks him out of my friend social group and I can keep moving on. I had big fears of running into them so I had recreate my social scene as you suggested. The bottom line, don’t worry about the new supply as you have said… they go away too.

Two things occurred to me listening to the vlog while driving home. First I realized, even listening intently, my priority focus was driving . Both consciously and eyes pealed on the road and on other drivers. It seems to me you can tell a persons personality with how they drive, but I digress. But what I noticed is even with a distraction of audio, it is not a fraction of the danger of having the narc in the car or of the brain fog even when they were not. I totally believe an accident would have been attention supply. Secondly is that constant lust for new supply. Object constancy is not only not in the narc playbook but it is an impossibility for them to do. There is no need to reciprocate when the mantra is simply to replace. They cannot commit to anyone but themselves. Some performative gestures, but the actions always out them. Its just a matter of a short amount of time. And thats just till you know. They never can give any genuine care. To care for anyone other than themselves would be crushing. Maybe an enabler parent or non-romantic supply, but that supply romance is impossible for them to sustain. Here again, its not personal , its a personality disorder. The only thing real was the intent of the supply.

Speaking of cars…. That final week, I did not get in the car with him. I’d witnessed his “rage of all rages” at home one night, and it occurred to me that he might try to push me out of a moving vehicle or in some way cause an accident to eliminate me altogether! He also had experienced a few self inflicted “accidents” with tools and machinery that necessitated ER visits. I think it’s highly possible that these were pathetic bids for attention…narc supply.

I get where you’re coming from. I think it just boils down to exactly how much you’re prepared to put up with. My mother was relentlessly abusive to my father throughout their whole 40 year marriage and even after she passed away, he would say something along the lines “your mother could be a real pain in the ass, but she was the right person for me”. If that’s not a trauma bond, I don’t know what is. At least she died before he did so his final years until his death were much happier for him.

For quite some time I thought my ex husband's new wife was enjoying what I had labored for. She was 15 years my junior. I helped build the business. She got the reward of the business. At my sons wedding she purposefully ignored me while my ex came and hugged me. Talk about confusion. During the reception, she was saddled with their adopted children while he acted like a delighted socialite. But today my questions are answered. My ex narcissist/children’s father has a new supply who is now a flying monkey. She knows someone in my apartment complex who reports back to her and my ex to see what I’m doing or who’s at my apartment. They’re basically stalking me and I’ve taken it to the police. My ex tells anyone and everyone how terrible of a person I am. This new supply has gone to the extent of calling my fiancé to tell him a bunch of lies that my ex made up about me. Thankfully my fiancé knows exactly what’s going on and trusts me but they’re trying to ruin everything. I working on going no contact but it’s difficult when we have children together. My narc has a new supply I found out because I let my wondering get the best of me and checked his socials. Went from me to his child mother to now a brand new supply. He’s posting her all over, ranting and saying how proud he is of her. Kissing and all over her. Blocked I’m two months out it did hurt but I’ll be ok she has no idea what she’s up for.
