You should go to Morthal. There's a follower there that you can brawl with and he'll follow you. Not only is he one of the people who go to the Jarl to complain about the resident wizard, he's also one of the people who chickens out outside Movarth's lair in the vampire quest. More than enough reason to sacrifice him to Boethia.

Pets are usually a poor investment. Although in the dragon born dlc I picked up a steadfast dwarven sphere and it usually only dies from my friendly fire. Which was a relief to me cause now I have 2 companions. I also have that dwarven armor mudcrap cc model that was free. It really works with my dwarven theme.

Just on that note. Reikling Warriors are classed as “pets” so you can have one in addition to a “follower” You can also equip a Reikling with weapons and armour much like a follower. At base stats they are the 2nd strongest “pet in the game” and strongest once equipped.

One Angry Boi exactly, she is quite a powerful tank at level 50 and you can make her even stronger with items you give to her. Plus, I made her essential with console commands. Now she is extremely powerful and unkillable

The rieklings are OG, they stay the hell out of the way most of the time, can't die unless hit by player. and you can recruit them with a follower making your team a three man squad. Also you can give them any arrow as a projectile weapon for them or any greatsword for melee which goes against avarti's "they have weak spears for weapons" argument. Plus they can equip armor but it just doesn't show on their character model. Seriously why you wouldn't want one of these guys is the real question

Every skyrim 'are for the nords' roleplay playthrough. He is quicker to obtain as well since he is right in front of you when you enter Riverwood. Also easy to betray. Between the two I'd choose Faendal whenever my character sides Imperial or Sven whenever he/she sides Stormcloak. Or even just when I'm not gonna use bows at all. Maybe I just played Faendal too much and I'm suffering from Lydia syndrome or something

I actually never liked followers in Bethesda titles. They mess with stealth, they block paths and they're mostly one-off characters. What i wouldn't give to have more extensive dialogue with Fawkes, but alas, he is merely a companion and a plot device. Oh, except Fallout:New Vegas. That game was on a whole another level!This game is so awesome it even gave ED-E a backstory and a character! But my favourites will always be Veronica and Boone.

If Im playing a Nord, I like to only travel with Nords. And you can get Sven right away. So, I'm I'm a Nord I grab him first chance before I even leave Riverwood and go to bleakfalls barrow. That being said, if he's still alive by the time I'm level ten, I'll usually move on to a better Nord. And I love Lydia. Haha.

Roggi Knot-beard may be a bad follower but he seems a cool guy to me He's the kind of person you sit around a campfire and make jokes or tell stories while drinking mead and have fun So I forged an enchanted legendary level dragonplate armor set for him that doubles his health and heavy armor skills also I gave him an enchanted legendary level war axe and now he's like a tank he takes on giants, bandit chiefs, Forsworn Briarhearts and high level dragons without yielding at all This is the best thing about bad followers they seem bad at first but with the right skills you can work on them and turn them into mighty warriors unlike the strong followers who are already strong with already advanced armors and high level skills where there is not much to be done

Also I'm going to defend the Reiklings honour, having a goblin that follows you around breathing horribly and screeching unspeakable swear words at enemies is inherently funny. They also can equip armour and bows to use the arrows with, even though the animation still shows them throwing the arrows, so they can be quite powerful. Finally they count as a pet in the games mind, which is very funny when my children say that "your pet looks scary" about my goblin, but it also means that they don't take up a proper follower slot.

Dude rieklings are awesome. they count as pets which means you can have a human follower alongside them. Not only that, but they also can equip armor you give them (it doesnt show up on their model but its listed as equipped in their inventory). They also can equip some weapons you give them. The ones at the mead hall can equip bows. The once you can recruit in the wild (the ones with the feathered helmets) can equip greatswords.

Rieklings can wear armour (even if it doesn't show on them), you can give them some OP enchanted two-handed weapon, AND they can hold your stuff while being pets. Meaning you can have another humanoid follower. Also: Lil' Brekflek was awesome!

The riekling can be a good ally if you know the tricks in using them. First off they’re an animal companion so you can still have a person follow you while you use one, second their spear damage is affected be the strongest arrow in their inventory so if they were given a dragon bone arrow or something similar they’d do some decent enough damage.

I remember fighting that girl with the stone heart and was getting my ass kicked when three Rielkings showed up outta no were. All of them Survived too and I think they popped out of barrels...

There is a way that I can't remember off the top of my head right now to get multiple followers, so at the end of my last playthrough I had Mjoll the Lioness and Serana following me. Set them up with some badass gear and every fight you enter is basically over before you even get involved

Probably at the beginning of the Dawnguard quest when you're tasked with taking Serana home. We left the ruins she was hibernating in with Mjoll straight into a giant's camp, at first I thought about fleeing, but instead I got out my soul trap spell and waited on a rock while they obliterated the camp to fill my grand soul gems.

As for a mage, Lydia is quite cool. U get her really quick, equip her with some strong armor and she tanks for you, while u blast with your spells.

So on the topic of "followers" all my house carrels glitched when I got the harth fire DLC. So now when I build a house and move my family there. Every single one of them shows up. and I get "stuirders", to a house they also just stay where my family lives. So I managed to make a small outfit of fighters at my lake view manor. Uthgerd the unbroken is one of my favorites, you can get her in whiterun before getting Lydia (she can help you fight the dragon), and you get her for free by picking a few dialogue options and winning a fistfight. It's great, and she has steel plate armor, but I don't know what her backstory or level cap is :/

Could you do a video on General Tulius? Maybe a genius or idiot video? It really seems like Tulius made some smart moves. (1. He worked to execute Ulfric quietly in a backwoods town to not make a huge spectacle / incite further ill will from the nords, 2. Had the Thalmor there so they couldn't use his possible staged death as a means of putting pressure on the empire, 3. I would also argue that taking such a stern handle on the other prisoners being close to the stormcloaks dissuades people joining - including the Dragonborn's almost execution, etc). I finally got Roggi after seeking him out. He was easy to miss on my first play through. I made him steward of Lake View Manor. I figure he can do alchemy, smithing and make mead while watching my house. Plus it gives me more of a full house feel since Raaya still lives there along with the hired hands and kids.

@@ye4thorn dremora lord is THE BEST, durn is garbo, he can only be summoned in really open areas, and the only thing he does anyways is fly in a circle like an idiot and spam drain vitality, which isn't a horrible shout, it won't make a difference anyway, because with the fukin level 60 dremora they'll just one shot most poor bastards, fuk ur shitty shout, and guess what? You can have TWO of them, their literal tanks, like 1400hp and a level 100 in most combat skills, thier fukin OP as shit, and conjure dragon priest cant be acquired legitimately, you have to get it with console commands or mods, even then, dremora lord is still better, dont believe me? Make them fight each other, guarentee dremora will win 9/10 times e a s I l y.

@@elephystry Not exactly what I meant, but yes Orchendor and Sild are considered to be good choices. Though Orchendor is the better of the two. Another good choice is Chief Yamarz, who, if you do it correctly, starts out with 3 times the health of a Demora Lord and has full Orcish armour.

I don't think Lydia is that bad tbh. She's the only Housecarl to have a unique dialogue while being on Solstheim. And since she's part of the main quest I do like having her around in the early game. Even having Cosnach around in the early game isn't that bad, but if it isn't a housecarl, people should go for the Mercenarys like Jenassa. Remember, it could always be worse: Sven or a dog. I always have Serana around in the late game.

I made one of my characters marry him and he vanished right after the wedding until I adopted two kids on a whim. I originally wanted my character to marry the argonian Scouts-many-marshes but, he got killed by a dragon that I couldn't be bothered to fight at the time. I hadn't even realized Scouts was dead until I went searching for him at the winterhold docks and couldn't find him anywhere.

I dunno about Uthgerd being worthy as a 'least favourite'. Yes she accidentally killed someone young, trying to get into the Companions, that is true. And it's horrible, but she actually has a background and if you have Cutting Room Floor installed, she has a little more dialogue with Skulvar. So she's a decent fighter at the very least. Plus we can also recruit a cannibal that is eating dead and rotten bodies in Markarth, who wants us to sacrifice an innocent priest. So I'd say she's not really worthy of being a 'least' favourite. Being average seems to suit her best lol.

I only got her cos Lydia died in a Dragon fight. Not saying she's below average, but in the pool of follower I'm familiar with, that's where she ranks

My FAVORIITE of all followers is by far Cicero. His funny comments, his jokes, his little dances. He can get annoying if you're playing for more than 7 hours, because at some point he just says the same things over and over again, but he is a very cool character and even when he's annoying at points, without him, it's too quit. I really like him.

I think this one is just me, but I absolutely cannot STAND Ria from the Companions faction. Every damn day she's like "I killed a bear yesterday, what'd you kill?" or "Hey I was newest before you showed up, you're the noob now." Immediate sacrifice to Boethiah cause she just wouldn't shut up. Worst part? *_SHE WON'T STAY DEAD._* She showed up alive again the next day, and the next after I killed her again. Some kind of game glitch or something. So now every time I have a bad day, Ria's at the receiving end of my anger XD
