When Sam talked about hierarchy, it reminded me of when I was young in my faith and seeing this older guy in my congregation. I was always wishing that I had what he had. Then one day it clicked. I do have what he has. Faith in Yeshua. It took way too long for me to realize that.

This really drills down deep, many dimensions illuminated. Thank you. Maybe you can relate this to the symbolic representation of Jerusalem in relation to Yeshua and how we are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and why they missed the time of their visitation and the depth of his tears over Jerusalem. I know you can unpack it! 🙂 If you already presented this mystery, please point me to the video on your channel. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! And I agree that Israel being God's first born son totally got past me until I studied the Exodus during the covid pandemic as we approached Passover. That's when I first noticed the scripture that Israel is announced in Egypt as God's firstborn son. There is such a prism of revelation about Yeshua in every book, every chapter. How awesome is He.

There’s the veil of Veronica , which is a sacred garment , that came about from the woman who offered her veil to wipe away the blood from Christ’s face when he fell carrying the cross to his death. Shalom if Yeshua lived in this 21st venture he would use public transport because there is where you meet people to interact with and bless but thanks for joking about it because it got me thinking about it .
Jesus, The Word, was with God in The Beginning before the water or the world was formed. God loved the world by sending His Son to be born of a virgin, Mary. Jesus was born to the Jewish people to make them ‘His Mission’ to save them as they are His Inheritance. Jesus born to earth as Yeshua is God as that is Who He is & was in The Beginning

I heard "ISA" in the background, but this name from the Coran is not the same person of the hebrew Scriptures,etc. But our brethren who still don't know the real person will recognize that name as the prophet of whom the New Testament speaks
@Grafted3 жыл бұрын
I agree that the "Jesus" of the Koran is not the same "Jesus" as the Bible. Arab Christians do refer to Jesus as "Isa" in Arabic but obviously are referencing the "Jesus" of the Bible.

Yeshua/ Jesus didn't come here to save us. That's a myth. He came to teach mankind to remember who they are, that we all came from ONE source. He doesn't want to be idolized nor does he needs followers but leaders in their own lives. The bible was writen by men not God. It's time people put that aside and meditate to get to know Yeshua/ Jesus

YAHUSHUA OR YAHSHUA is the True Hebrew name of JESUS. Yeshua's name originated from the Jewish Orthodox but was not based on the Scripture of John 5:43 - "I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive." The Father's name is YAH. Psalm 68:4 (NKJV) - "Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him". HalleluYAH!

What Bible are you looking where kraspedon, “κρασπέδου” is tzitzit?
@Grafted2 жыл бұрын
It's from the Tree of Life Version (TLV). The Septuagint (Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible translated before the time of Yeshua) uses kraspedon in Numbers 15:38-39 to translate the Hebrew tzitzit so there is a 2nd century BCE Jewish precedent for this use which is roughly same time period as our oldest manuscripts of the Old Testament from the Dead Sea Scrolls.
@ianmartinesq2 жыл бұрын
@@Grafted I see. The TLV uses the Masoretic text for it's OT and used the septuagint translation of Tzitzit from Numbers to establish that Jews translate "Tzitzit" as "kraspedon" when translating into Greek? Is that correct? If that's the case, there is a bit of inference there and is not 100%, since kraspedon could mean "tzitzit" but could also just generically mean "fringe" as normally translated. It is a bit of a difficulty in determining which the original Greek text meant. The NT authors would some times add the Aramaic as well, such as in the case of Jesus' last words, for clarification. Without such a clarification in the text and using the method that I think you're saying the translators of the TLV used, it seems that Tzitzit is not necessarily there in the text but only could be in the text and they have chosen the more Jewish option wherever ambiguity allows.
@Grafted2 жыл бұрын
Here is a note from the translators of the NET Bible (they are not Messianic) on Matthew 9:20: "The edge of his cloak refers to the kraspedon, the blue tassel on the garment that symbolized a Jewish man’s obedience to the law (cf. Num 15:37-41). The woman thus touched the very part of Jesus’ clothing that indicated his ritual purity." Biblical Studies Press, The NET Bible First Edition; Bible. English. NET Bible.; The NET Bible (Biblical Studies Press, 2005).
@ianmartinesq2 жыл бұрын
@@Grafted Strong's G2899 - kraspedon Outline of Biblical Usage 1. the extremity or prominent part of a thing, edge, skirt, margin A. the fringe of a garment B. in the NT a little appendage hanging down from the edge of the mantle or cloak, made of twisted wool C. a tassel, tuft: the Jews had such appendages attached to their mantles to remind them of the law. Clearly, Strong's recognizes that Tzitzit is *a* possible meaning, but not the only one. The Peshitta translates it as just "the edge" and Aramaic is pretty similar to Hebrew and if Tzitzit is what they really meant, it might have made it into the Peshitta. But it didn't, which is not proof that it wasn't a tzitzit and just the hem of Jesus' garment, but it's evidence that the woman touched only the hem of his garment. Although I assume Jesus wore Tzitzit anyway, I don't know if this text can be used to prove it.
