I saw the Samurai Curved Belt mentioned on here. That belt is thick steerhide. The thickest and beefiest leather variety I have ever handled in Oak-bark Tanned straps. Hawkmoth, Ewing Dry Goods, a smaller Montana maker called Basilio that I have. Bomber af 14-16oz leather

Nice video Jake. Thanks to you, l did order and worked with Duke Mantee on a couple leather suspenders. Real good decent reasonable leather artisan, highly recommended

I had a belt made with Duke as well, he’s amazing to work with!

I love Wild Frontier Goods. Mike and Noriko do amazing work. He’s making an olive Shinki Shell cordovan belt for me.

I’m not sure why I wear expensive belts because I never tuck in my shirts. I could use a bungie cord and nobody would know. My two favorites which have lasted years were made by Tucker at KH Leather. He seems to have fallen off the grid though.

The last beld you mentioned and showed, the Brand is Kreis, right? I wasn‘t sure, because in German it is pronouced very differently😄 it means circle in German.

Haha yes! My apologies for the poor pronunciation. How is it pronounced?

My belts are from Popov leathers and Grant Stone. Both are good classic belts with thick cuts of leather , CXL and veg tanned, which should age well. Not too kuch of a decorated belta person myself.

Thank for video! Please if you show same goods (belts, denim fabric and other 'small' details) please put them on a table not cam front of you waiting the focus
@casuallyworked46989 күн бұрын
So you wear them with the Buckle on the side? How much extra length do you like for the belt to have once you are in the correct hole? I’ve seems some people with short length and others have a lot left over
@almostvintagestyle9 күн бұрын
Actually I don't need any extra length for that. Right now my belts are slightly too big because I lost a little more weight
@watchin-stoof988Ай бұрын
Who would you recommend for plain belts tho? I get this is your style now but these are much too decorated for the average guy
@almostvintagestyleАй бұрын
That's why I also recommended Hollows. Plus, any of these guys make great plain belts

Check Samurai Jeans curved belts. Very robust, thick pre-shaped belt that exists in black, brown and natural color. Super simple but lives from the beefiness and the patina it will get (I own the natural color).

I got a beautiful struck through black belt from Duke. Just plain black and a great buckle that I got to choose. Also filson’s bridle leather belts are good too! Very simple, robust belts, and much less expensive than duke’s.

@@olgi2068will do! I’ve got samurai denim and t shirts but never considered their belts
