Harold's hamburger selection of ingredients and combination of ingredients are wonderful. The cutting technique of the slightly stiff romaine lettuce, which will be an accent in particular, is wonderful. I think that the taste and texture when eating this hamburger is the best hamburger.

it is... theres litteraly no point in trying to recreate a better Shack Shack burger. They already use high quality beef, Pat LaFrieda, custom sauce, Martins potato roll, and properly smash n seasoned. You would litteraly be remaking the same thing. Unless you choose to use prime/wagyu beef and different cheese. But they use American Cheese because it goes the best with any burger.

I've worked in the industry for a long time and I've always like (bottom to top) bun, sauce, lettuce, tomato, burger, cheese, pickle, onion, sauce and bun. Just a personal preference.
@ReginaldTAP32 жыл бұрын
I’ve always found burger layering a fascinating topic. May I ask you, when you pick the burger up do you ensure the bottom stays on the bottom? Harold picked his up in a way that resulted in the bottom being on “top.” However, when he constructed the burger he skirted the issue by essentially taking a palindrome approach.

Tastes like nothing? Have you ever tasted a fresh tomato before? They're a natural for burgers because their profile pairs very well with savory flavors, like beef of course. I eat mostly animal proteins at this point because of a screwed up digestive system, but a homemade burger is only halfway there without fresh lettuce & fresh tomato
