My husband and I first date, I paid for our date. He told me from the beginning, you are going to have to pay as well. And that I did. He allowed me to see that there has to be balance. A little before our 6th month anniversary he told me to give him my card because I was financially unstable while working two jobs. He made sure we had everything we needed and desired when he took over. And when we started living on the streets, I had to make it happen for us. From getting us food, clothes, and shelter;I never looked at him less than the God, God created him to be. He provided in ways that paper finances can't. And that's spiritually. He taught me how to live how God see fit, and that is the greatest gift I could ask for. You all are beautiful. I appreciate when true soulmates are together. The spiritual energy shows. Blessings to you two💜💜💜

Me and husband known each other since six grade. We both were brought up in the 80’s. I was 16 of age when I got my first apartment with my boyfriend snd daughter. I worked two jobs to pay $150 dollars rent and utilities. My husband didn’t work he couldn’t find a job then. I supported my husband during hard times for my family. I love my boyfriend so much I knew in time he will get a job. One day he had a interview at Nobart Studio in downtown Chicago. He came back home and told me I got the job. We both were so excited. He told me I don’t want you to work anymore stay home and I’ll take of us now. At the age of 22 we both got married and bought our first house Indiana. We became born again Christian’s in 1990’s serving our Lord Jesus. We both stood by each another through our life journey no matter how bad it got. God is with us!! ✝️🙏🏻 We are now in our middle 50’s we are still in love and with God blessings we are living blessed beyond our cup. Don’t give up on your partner or spouse. God will always work situations out. Be patient and walk in faith. Life is a journey. ☺️

My second comment after watching the video... this was a very great topic. My own experience in support of a point Lamb made as to showing your support in some other ways if you girlfriend or wife is the one bringing in the money, I was studying in Japan and my girlfriend I had met there was the one paying for our apartment at some point, see me cleaning and cooking tirelessly... Did I die? The problem with most guys is EGO, be wise and humble because it helps greatly. No circumstances will last forever, you just need self discipline to cross over.

And I’ve also seen many successful families lose everything when the husband who was the breadwinner passed away because whilst the husband was alive he didn’t let the wife know how he makes money. What assets and debts he has. What it takes to run his business. Then when he passes away, the wife doesn’t know what’s what. This video is so valuable. Amazing advice guys. I loved when Lamb said, "Imagine me Subjecting you to my own finance - not allowing you to experience your own glory". Finances ruin a lot of relationships because couples don't like to have the talk or they don't have the talk. we think sometimes that by lying and hiding information about how much we earn and our sources of income, we are protecting ourselves - but in reality, we are subjecting our marriage to possible failure. This video is so helpful. this is such a problem with a lot of relationships. Sometimes women have to hide or lie about how much they earn just because they are afraid it will scare off guys - but a MAN should know his worth and such important subject must be discussed and disclosed to enable better planning to build stronger finances in the marriage.

It takes a real mature man to love a woman enough to allow her to lead when it is necessary. I have seen relationships soar to great heights because the man never felt insecure about his woman earning more and being able to lead the family to success. I never knew you're a musician even Ft Baddo ( Olamide) one of your song . U did concert with prisoners and a speech at UN conferences etc etc... the most touching is one of your song about Kirikiri that was on point . I'm proud of you and kudos to your wife as well been supportive. A Fan from Australia.

I loved the honesty and this open conversation! Loved how Lamb explained the reason why women should work in the relationship! This is a very good conversation! Thank you for sharing it!
