The reason custards are cooked in a water bath is to keep it from getting hotter than the boiling point of water. 212 df. Its a double boiler for the oven.

@@Blancowhite7it is actually really good . A every creamier and tastier heavy cream. In Norway we have a dessert called fresh raw milk pudding . Sounds better than colostrum pudding. I think it’s basically the same thing. We serve it with berry sauce and fresh berries. Well after I saw it, I must say ours looks much nicer. That looked like badly scrambled eggs 😂 And we use the deadly enemy that horrible castor sugar 😂😂😂

That’s no guard goose, that’s a gosling who is just as defenseless as the chicks. I’ve had hawks kill goslings that size. Save only the nicest mature geese and they would actively fight off hawks.

We have been using the 10' tube man for a long -long time. We always keep a new extra tube man in case Dept. Chick (that's what we call tube man) goes down in a shoot out....lol

Can't tell you how "brilliant" I thot I was a few years ago when I came up with the tube man as scarecrow idea all by myself then found that many people do it. Best discoveries are ones completely validated by being the last one to know it's a good idea. lol

Good on you for getting fresh Colostrum; it has many benefits and thats why breast milk is rich in it. I would suggest maybe not heating the milk up; milk this fresh is unlikely to need to be heated and you are baking it anyways. The double heat is likely to neutralize many of the health benefits. Not medical advice obviously; do as you see fit for your family.

I was going to say it’s a hawk.

Nein, es war ein Bussard.
@CharlieNagoo4 күн бұрын
I think it was a Cooper's Hawk. Germany does not have Cooper's Hawks. A "bussard" in German is more akin to our Red Tail Hawk, from the genus Buteo. A Cooper's Hawk is in the genus Accipiter.

@CharlieNagoo3 күн бұрын
@@anjaschubert4086 Are you falconer? I am not, but I have read a lot books on the topic. I think it was either a Cooper's Hawk or a Sharp-shinned hawk (both in the genus accipiter).

For the custard, try this, add vanilla + Limon our orange zest, to that mixture and more Honey. Cook over low heat, until it starts to thicken. Then put it on small bowls, and place them in the oven until they ready. Bon appetit. 🇵🇹🇵🇹

Hey to the community. My family and I ventured into backyard chickens for the first time this spring. We only got 5 from tractor supply. Unfortunately, they gave us the wrong chicken and we have raised a rooster as a pet.😊 I need to find him a new home. Do any of you know how I can do that? We live in the triad area of NC. Any sites where I can list him would be much appreciated. I tried fb marketplace but they told me I wasn't allowed to list him.
