Superlek with the staggered Muay Thai rhythm and Takeru with the foward heavy kickboxing style. I personally fight more in the Muay Thai style like Superlek emphasizing kicks, however I'm digging Takeru's hand heavy kickboxing.

I personally spar more like Takeru, and I'm on team Takeru as well, but I can't deny Superlek has some lethal looking kicks. That's a cause for concern.

Superlek has the best hip strength and mobillity of any fighter today, and his balance is also up there together with Panpayak

@@Suplex479 there's a reason why petch sometimes misses first he's fighting in southpaw where's in open stance fighting people often kicks wider bcoz of the distance sometimes further in open stance, now second he's fighting bigger opponents when you fight someone longer and lanky than you + you fight in open stance it's pretty hard to find the target, leads you to off balance, but if petch fighting someone with southpaw stance, which means makes him fight in closed stance, it'll reduce the chance of missing bcoz in the same stance you can kick through o shorter distance

I like Superlek's better but I think Takeru's preps you for a fight better, he was working max speed, and was really pressuring the padholder with those combinations.

I liked Takeru hitting pads more than Superlek, because in all honesty, I thought Takeru definetly had that speed advantage, and Superlek had those kicks really blasting in with full power, non the less, both of them were awesome to watch on pads from these fight clips, it is just, that Takeru was faster in my opinion, and his technique looked sharper than the technique of Superlek Gabriel!

Superlek put on an amazing performance. Outside of the round 3, he won 1,2,4,5 pretty easily. His adjustment to knees to the body later in the fight really held Takeru off

It’s a public workout, so who knows what these guys are intentionally putting out there in the ether. But if there’s no real smoke and mirrors, it looks to me like Takeru is willingly neglecting full return to guard to pick up a little more hand speed…. But boy they are fast. Personally, I’d take superlek.

Takeru looks swift as hell with those hands and more entertaining on the pads, however Superleks kicks are 🔥🔥🔥 For that reason I'm going to predict this to be a Superlek win. Takeru will be one hell of an addition to One regardless of the outcome though, really looking forward to seeing him in action in the future 🥊🦵
