Pac was a whole different artist it’s like comparing apples and oranges, he had his own lane he wrote a recorded his music the way he wanted. Those rappers you named are not similar to Pac and he wasn’t similar to them. But he defiantly did more musically in 5 years then a lot of those rappers you named.

The first guy had something but it didn’t all connect to me. I generally agree with his evolution statement, I think the depth of talent in both rap and basketball has gotten better which speaks to that evolution. But if we’re talking about a single entity/generational talent, those types of people transcend the norm. That applies to Tupac (and Jordan), and they can both be argued as the goat.

I used to think Tupac was a bit overrated but as I’ve grown older I realize why he was special. He was a great rapper don’t get me wrong but I believe there are rappers with better punchlines/technical abilities. What made him so special was his passion and versatility. Rappers currently lack emotion, Pac would have you ready to run through a brick wall, ready to shed a tear, ready to be a gangsta, or ready to be an activist with any given song. He was the type to tell you to your face if he ain’t fuck with you, something this world lacks, although that may have been his downfall it was also what made him special. He was unapologetically himself even at the biggest stage.
