The picture taking thing is often a complaint of moms because their homes & social media will be filled with candid pics of the kids and dad making memories/having fun together but the husband rarely thinks to do the reverse & take pictures of mom & kids.

Theres an idea that mums tend to take more photos of the kids with dad (as some sort of a mum being sentimental/emotional/prepared sort of thing) but there are few photos of kids and mum because the dads tend to live more in the moment of the experience not worrying about wanting to look back on it.... that's how I heard the photo question anyway.

My husband and I have seperate blankets. It's so much better than fighting over the blankets. Well worth it. We do two throws because you will get hot lying next to each other, and you can just flip that blanket up for struggle snuggles😂❤❤❤. Best thing i ever insisted we try.

My husband and I have separate bed covers, and have for years.. He is like a furnace. Even in the coldest nights he will have his shoulders uncovered. I will have 2 more blankets and the sheet over my head. We've been married 40 years. And have had separate bed linens for probably 30 . A king size bed makes a huge difference also. XD

They were surprisingly confused by the candid photo question lol Maybe it's a millennialism, but it has always been a thing for people my age, that people like when their partners take random pictures of them, capturing a memory, just because they were taking photos. It's absolutely not about posed, planned photos; quite the opposite. I wouldn't want to fully claim it ORIGINATED with polaroids, but certainly that's the point of popularization.
