Hi Alek, you sound much better! Prayers continue. As littermates, Clea and Gypsy could Not be more different in personalities! 💕😊 How tall is little Gypsy? She looks close to Sully's height? If I remember correctly she is 18 inches, maybe? Sully is 20, Clea is 19 (just like Silver) those I remember. But yes, Gypsy and Clea are night and day and when we went to meet Gypsy, Clea demanded she come home with us too, and at first Clea followed me and the rest of the heelers around. We were worried she wasn't going to bond with him because of how much she was with me but he upped his game on training with her and she eventually started to follow daddy and Kage around. She learned a lot from him too.

I call Ghost "my little man" all the time. Ms. Pepper Potts needs no introduction...because she's a domestic terrorist. I love how Gypsy is so passionate about the chuck it. Sully is a force and Clea is such a lady. All of ours dogs have had extra names, too. I feel like we missed the boat with Ghost....we should have named him Dobby (the house elf). Take care of yourself!

I love your wonderful babies! I found your channel about a year ago when I was doing research into whether or not I wanted a Heeler. I got to see Silver before she graced heaven with her presence. I love all of their names. My hubby, kids, dogs and cats have so many nicknames, it's just how it goes! (Honestly, people in my life should be concerned if I actually like/love them if they DON'T get at least one nickname! )

Very glad to hear that you are better. You have definitely perked up a bit. Clea is my favorite because she is such a lady and always more polite. Annie's name is Annie Oakley because she was a wild puppy, and actually, I called her "the puppy from hell". Her training was a big challenge but now she is ... The Best Dog Ever!

I said the same about my last boy. Puppy from hell but man he was the best dog ever. Clea really is a special soul. It shocks us when she actually does a cattle dog trait lol

haha Mr Man is The Man! We call our girl Saffy Salmon or sweetfish depending on her level of cuteness and silliness. Our soul dogs are forever gonna' strike our hearts with pain but our memories with the Happy, Happy Joy Joy and love they gave us. I started watching when you had all your crew before Sully. You created a time where I felt like it was ok to be bereft for a time. Hope youre on the mend.

Dear Heeler Mama, I have a beautiful blue heeler named "Sue" (she's my true blue lol.) Question? My girl is 5 years and a half and I've never brushed her teeth so my question is have you ever brushed your dogs teeth and if so how did you go about it? I'm just curious only because I noticed plaque build up and a vet is a option but want to be hands on.

Yes I have brushed their teeth. I didn't brush much when I first got dogs but when I got into grooming it happened more often lol. I have some vids up showing teeth brushing. I just use doggie toothpaste with a brush and you just do the outside of their teeth. I do it as often as I can, I use to do it weekly but these days I have slacked on that. Clea is supposed to have it done 3-4 times a week because her tarter is crazy on her teeth so if I can't get it better she might need a dental. But my Silver's teeth were amazing even well into old age and I'd like to think it was partially cuz of the brushing. But some dogs do fine just chewing on things that helps keep the tarter down too. Sorry for the long answer. 😊
