Now you will have 80+ hits with AP-2. Having Trail Shaper (scout 10in, move 10in) in the Blob. The most devastating Alpha/Beta Strike in the game. And gained 5+ FnP, for round 2.

Can't double Trap anymore, they got rid of all doublestrats that don't name the strat they're doubling. Plus, the War Shaper using the Stratagem is still a part of the unit that's firing so Trap will only apply after its unit is finished shooting or fighting, at which point just for spatial reasons at the very least you're unlikely to have 2 other full-strength Carnivore bricks able to shoot at that target, let alone within Rapid Fire range

In the Kroot detachment you can get the gland on the flesh shaper. Put him in a unit of 20 with the War shaper with prey hook. That gets the war shaper crit hitting on 5’s with a weapon that has lethal in melee, and sustained as well. Get a lone spear for the rerolls and the war shaper has some melee teeth on him.

Kroot got nerfed pretty hard by the Dataslate changes last week. For Stratagems, all Stratagems that gave things Lone Op (Hidden Hunters) now make them untargetable at 18" instead of 12". Additionally, all Stratagems that create a replacement unit (Join the Hunt, Reinforcements, etc) were changed to only be usable once per game, so we can only revive one unit ever. On the Trail Shaper, it was errata'd to keep in line with the new Redeploy step. All redeploys were changed to work on that Redeploy step, which is before knowing who goes first, so the Trail Shaper is much weaker and not nearly as worth the 65 points. On the War Shaper, they also changed the free and double-strat rules, free is now -1 in all cases and there are no more double-strats unless a strat is specifically named. So no more stacking Trap Well Laid for some decent AP. They didn't errata the text on units with the abilities, they just expect everyone to have read the new Dataslate that came out last week with the changes. On the bright side, now that they're -1 instead of 0 you can also use any Stratagem, not just Battle Tactics, so at the very least it's a free Grenades. Note: The no-double-strat change does also mean that Retaliation Cadre's Puretide Engram Chip is 25 points to do literally nothing, as it does not reduce CP and does not have a named Stratagem to double on, and was admitted to be an oversight by GW.

Due to the Update last week the Trailshapers redeploy is done after everything is deployed but before the first turn is decided. at least every factions redeploy got that nerf Edit: in edition the Warshapers cp reduction works on all strategems now, but you cannot use any strategem a second time anymore. that second part got canceled from all of those abillities

​@@CommanderNearsight Artofwar made some good videos or even a podcast episode. I would highly recommend them over reading the changes yourself, because of the amount of changes and you need to dive into 4 documents to collect everyone
