I kinda like what theyre doing with the teams after the fall of krakoa Scott is becoming more of a magneto like figure being about all the action while Rogue is like trying to help kids and keep them safe and alive Kitty is doing her best trying to avoid and ignore her trauma, but it keeps coming back to bite her in the ass

cyclops is not only my favorite x-man but also my favorite marvel superhero. i like flawed characters that are allowed to fail, brings more weight to the choices made by the characters and even knowing this i'd trust scott's decision making skills over any other character period. (edit as long it's not a decision about his 2 weaknesses, female telepaths and havok)

I honestly WISH we had a full season of magneto leading the x men. It was a wonderful and interesting dynamic. Loved seeing him take charge in genosha and against sinister. It would be so cool with him doing drills with them and such. Come onn

Man, I don't see a balance between the two as the answer. Magneto symbolizes the excess, the radicalization. You put in a way that Xavier is a non-action pacificist and Magneto is the pure action, as I understand. I dont see it that way. Magneto is tje villain because he always goes too far - and he always goes too far because he has a god complex nurtered by resentment. And Cyclops became, after Schism, a terrorist. He literally killed Xavier... They butcherd his character. He is not suposed to be the best of both worlds - he is the leader os the heroes, so the best of Xavier teachings. And he was until Marvel destroyed him in Schism (pure Jason Aaron sh*t) and AvX. Great discussion and I thank you for re-uploading it. I missed the first time.

Both want Mutant peace but go about it in very different ways. I also said it depends on the writer because ultimate Magento was just crazy. And ultimate cyclops was crazy too, I really only like ultimate Spider-Man because all the ultimate characters feel super edgy.

After Fall Of x I dropped X-Men books forever. These killers don't are heroes anymore. All the are dangerous murderers now Just like Magneto. Krakoa Era show us that mankind always was right in fear and hate mutants.
