Very valuable advice that I would otherwise not have gotten. Thanks very much indeed. I stumbled very recently over your videos and the natural footwear site, just weeks after my left foot surgery. Before that I thought next year I would also have a surgery on my right foot, but now my outlook has completely changed - thanks to your ground breaking work. The more I watch and listen to your messages, the more my hope goes up that I can work my foot issues out in a more natural way. Thank you guys and keep up the good work.

If I understand this correctly, some people can benefit by wearing their custom orthotics with Correct Toes. Would this include people with hammertoes, capsulitis and tendonitis that has caused metatarsalgia? Would wearing both devices only be effective when transitioning completely to Correct Toes? Thanks in advance for clarifying.

For capsulitis of the 2nd MPJ. Would a good combination be Lems Primal Zens shoes, correct toes, and a metatarsal pad?

All three would be a great recommendation but we cannot say without visiting with you what your treatment plan would be.

i went to a podiatrist who said I had hallux limitus and recommended a rigid insole for my shoes and getting rocker bottom shoes with good room for toes. the rigid sole seems to be contrary to your advice as well as flat soled shoes you recommend. can you comment on this as I am confused.

Hello doctor I am suffering from plantar fasciitis for almost 6 months. I have been told to wear orthotics all day long until I go to bed. However, it doesn't help my plantar fasciitis. I have very high Arch and not sure if orthotics going to help. What should I do. Please suggest. MRI confirmed plantar fasciitis and partial tear.

This is great. Thanks for doing this, and thanks for creating Correct Toes, which have immensely benefited my feet and my life. Best purchase I've ever made. I'd love to see more of these Q & A's. A couple questions I have: 1. What kind of shoes are you wearing in the video? 2. Is there an updated list of Correct Toes Approved shoes? Right now, Altra seems to be the only brand of athletic shoe in which you can wear Correct Toes. I love Altra, but my left Achilles tendon can't tolerate long runs (5+ miles) in a zero-drop shoe. Right now, I have to ditch the Correct Toes at times, which I hate, as they have been the salvation of my feet.

how can we tell if it is a fixed or flexible forefoot valgus/varus? I got prescribed orthotics, and was told that my foot had collapse of arch due to hypermobility with tibial torsion and overpronation... and i'm not sure If i should continue wearing orthotics or not, I still have chronic pain everywhere. when I try to align my ankle better (not overpronate) and activate the arch it seems that my big toe joint cannot touch the ground. would that be a valgus or varus?

i have mild bunions on my feet and just received a covential custom orthodic from my foot doctor . If I wear both at the same to try and transition is that okay and how long would it potentially take for my bunions to go away with correct toes if I stick to them and proper shoes as much as possible>

how are you supposed to spread your toes out naturally while they're inside shoes?

In shoes that have room for it. Most shoes made do not.
