I’m concerned about more people collecting welfare and the continued deterioration of the public school system as we try to teach immigrant children from multiple countries.

I'm sorry, but why would the public school system deteriorate if we integrate immigrant children from other countries?

@ Most children of illegal immigrants don’t speak English and their schooling is usually inferior to US schools. So a large influx of immigrant students will overburden the public school system by having to spend extra time/money to accommodate these students. Another factor may be, though I’m uncertain, that a large portion of immigrant parents to not value education and may not speak English Without support from the parents, the student’s chances of excelling diminish.

@@glasshalffull2930 Not sure why, but my replies aren't going through. Young children learn language very fast, and our public schooling isn't world-class either. We need to reform and make our public schooling to be more efficient and accountable anyway. Fixing for this and the advances in AI should make it trivial for accommodating the new kids. But, prejudice and is a big no no!
