I'm a Buddhist and my idea is that there was a great man called Jesus Christ. If he didn't exist, this much of faith even after 2000 years after his death wouldn't have existed. Its not known whether present religious teaching is same as it was taught by Jesus. Also one would doubt on Miracles too. But there is a high probability that a great man called Jesus Christ existed someday. May not be archaeologicaly proven, but in general sense, he must have existed. Otherwise he may not be respected even more than 2000 years after his death.

I appreciate your thoughts, and I share them. I am agnostic, and I don't believe in the silly idea of Jesus' immaculate conception. I also don't believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus. But I agree with the majority of experts who are convinced that Jesus existed, that he was crucified by the Romans, and that his life and his teachings impressed many people. There are only a few documents which mention Jesus directly. But there is also some indirect evidence. Paulus - who btw distorted the teachings of Jesus considerably - did not meet Jesus personally, but his and Jesus' life overlapped, and he had personal contact with Jesus' brother James, who had taken up the gauntlet after his brother's death. And while the gospels were written several decades after Jesus' death, people who knew about Jesus and his crucifixion were still alive when the earliest accounts of this life were written. It would not have been possible to concoct the legend of a person who had never existed, from scratch! That is a very unrealistic theory!a

It's a literal conspiracy theory which goes against every historical fact, also a version of "mythicism". Quote: "Even a brief look at historical facts makes the premise of Caesar’s Messiah implausible. Christianity, according to historical records, was not well received by the Roman Empire. In fact, it was brutally persecuted in the decades after the writing of the Gospels and was functionally illegal until three centuries after Christ’s crucifixion. Christians were jailed and executed during that era specifically because their religion contradicted Roman religious requirements. From a practical standpoint, it makes no sense for a government to invent a religion that inspired people to defy that same government." Never underestimate profitability of people's gullability due to ignorance (used by authors of such bs books).

You're a really confused individual. No sane Christian today denies evolution, which is a scientific fact with evidence beyond any reasonable doubt, even if some finer details of our knowledge of the most complicated domain in existance is not complete. It doesn't contradict Bible or Christian belief. Then there is many-worlds interpretation (which tries to compete for quantum-gravity explanation of cosmology), which is a hypothesis without hard or even soft evidence, to the point it's a speculative attempt at "theory of everything". That's why ignorant people like you shouldn't talk about science and religious people like you shouldn't juxtapose religion, faith and science. There is no competition, as these are different realms which - with a bit of common sense - doesn't have to contradict each other. Btw i consider myself an agnostic, theist Christian (i lost my zeal for blind faith), and had no contradictions with science when i was a fanatic Christian zealot neither.

However there are scholars that - if not outright questioning existance of Mohammad - does question how the Quran was written and how much of it is historically accurate, i could drop you many videos right here on YT. Second, why are you so offended when historians, journalists or just documentalists try to investigate historical evidence of Jesu's life? I know the correct Christian interpretation of the Bible is trough faith alone, but scientific and historical one is accepted as valid position for "non-believers" by all churches i've been to. By complaining about simple, empiric investigation into historical evidence of Jesus, you undermine the very message of evangelisation, as today there are a large part of civilisation claiming that there is no historical evidence at all of Jesus and many other claims of Bible. These kinds of documentaries at least debunks that part, showing a bare minimum of historical base for the New Testament - at least some parts of it - without undeniable hard evidence, as no-one has the latter. If your faith is worth it, none of this should influence you, because it's not a matter of mind.

The obvious location was the Mt. of Olives (actually a ridge) running north to south on the east side of the Kidron Valley. The northern part of the ridge is the Mt. of Olives and there is a very large cemetery opposite the East Gate (sealed up by Islam). South of that, a bridge connected the ridge with the City of David and was a place where they collected the "head tax" (Golgotha) before entering Jerusalem. That area is presently Muslim controlled Silwan Village. The "city dump" (Gehenna) was still further south. The Romans displayed the crucified outside the city walls as a warning to those entering Jerusalem from the Kidron Valley. There were constant small fires in the city dump and that was probably where the Romans dumped the bodies of those who were crucified.

Yosef Ben Matityahu was one of the leaders of the Jewish revolt against the Romans in Galillee, in the fortress of Yodfat I think. The rebels drew lots in a suicide pact which he survived. He survived capture by the Romans, changed sides, moved to Rome and became a Roman citizen names Flavius Josephus and incredibly important historian. I don't think he ever changed his religion. After 70-73 AD there was a large Jewish community in Rome.

@@charananekibalijaun8837 What's the connection between Josephus and Christianity? In his lifetime I don't think that the religions had even formally separated yet. I'm pretty sure that Christianity hadn't reached Rome yet, where Josephus lived. Sure he was seen as a traitor, but rather a lot of water has flowed down the River Jordan since then. His history books are incredibly important in understanding the latter Second Temple period and the Jewish Wars against Rome.

Idk, go watch these documentaries and read the comments. There are many made on historical evidence of Mohammad, his alleged contemporanians nd questionable compilation of Quran and Hadith. Most are worded more carefully, knowing what to expect, but as farcas i remember, there were less Muslim comments under their videos than Christian ones under this one. The nature and censure of comments is another matter.. I could drop you a link if you need and it's allowed on this chanell.

To be fair no one proved that the family tomb of Jesus is a fraud. One side said it was and the other said it wasn’t. The tombs have all the relevant names but aside from that neither side really had prove to say one way or another what it was. An Israeli court decided as much in a defamation suit that was brought against those defaming the makers of that film, and I agree.

"Those who don't believe Jesus, will not find Jesus.".... Saul tortured Christians because he believed that Christ was real. That is why he hated them. That is why he found Jesus. If Jesus Christ is not real, then why are the Christians being tortured? Why were the disciples killed or why would anyone die for a lie... They torture the Christians because they cannot bear His existence. That is the reason why they try to prove that Jesus Christ is not real.

2000 years later, just by rambling on Jerusalem a bunch of people are trying to deny about Jesus existence. Everyone tries to escape from the sinful consequences of what he has done in the past. Jesus is the great barrier to committing sin. Rejecting Him makes no change. What are the sources of those resource personnel who rejected the existence of Christ? Blind documentary...

Why did or does He stand out from the over three hundred that were crucified? There must be something more that these atheists are not or are deliberately denying or trying to conceal from us. Are these atheists trying to water down the fact that Jesus died and rose from the over three hundred that were crucified?

It's a clear cut case that Jesus was a character purely created by the early christians to solidify, strengthen and unify the faith although the place historically existed but the real Jesus was a big question mark. There is nothing to prove that this man Jesus existed not even any artifacts of him. And I think it's absurd that nothing was found.

Dear Christian, don't waste your time to watch this video because it is totally based on lies they have made to prove that the Bible's Jesus doesn't exist. I want to ask only one question, how can anyone hate from who didn't exist? As many Jews do because they don't believe He was The Messiah. So, this is coming from Jesus time.

If you insist people to believe in existence of Jesus then why should you deny historiocity of Ram and Krishna.? Your insistence has made Jesus part of history book. Then Ram and Krishna should also be included in history books. Pontiac pilate was a real life historical man,but his name has been used to give historiocity to Jesus who had no proof. There is no proof that pilate issued an order for crucification.
