Is it not that Marks Gospel is written first n Mathew's gospel being better structured is placed first?

As far as I know, according to the tradition, the Gospel of Matthew first written in Hebrew/Aramaic. Then it translated to Greek. But before it translated to Greek, the Gospel of Mark is written in Greek. The Hebrew/Aramaic of St. Matthew's Gospel manuscript is lost/not survive. So that's why the manuscript of Mark's Gospel is older than Matthew's Gospel (both in Greek). But, I alse have heard the information just like you share before

The gospel according to st Matthew is the Christian manifesto ! St Jerome and papias historically verify this ! Look also at the genealogy of his gospel so typically Hebrew and the hebraicism that fill his gospel . The Jews needed a gospel that was understood and written by a Jew. St Mark was not an eyewitness and he was an amanuensis of St Peter. Mark's gospel was not referred to in the same light for several centuries .
