The stadium was half empty in the hibs one because we’d just won the Scottish cup for the first time in 114 years against rangers with a 92 nd minute winner to make it 3-2 after being 2-1 down and we invaded the pitch that’s like easily 40 minutes after the game finished. As a proud Englishman I have to say Scotland because the English premier league is now mostly for tourist Daytrippers Corporate's and the hardcore working class support what create the true tribal Racouse Atmosphere of football have sadly been priced out. I am Scottish & honestly I have to agree. England has a much higher standard of football on the pitch but Scotland has the more passionate fan now a days anyway buy & large I would say. In terms of The Premier League personally I would say only Saint James Park , Goodison Park & Anfield have good atmospheres now all the other Stadiums in England are as you have sead buy & large now. I have followed Chelsea since 1996 because when I was growing up that's when we got Sky Sports & at that point it was majority English League games that where on so I picked Chelsea to give me an interest in English football I never ever thought football would become what it has now back in 1996. Dont watch to much of The Premier League now due to the reasons you have started as Someone sead on a documentary I watch about Corinthian Casuals The Premier League it like a T.V show now. Watching a lot of The South American leagues at this point myself.

The amount of money coming into the English game has widened the gap in quality between football in Scotland and England and the English Premier League has become a global brand. This may seem good, but I have seen plenty of online quotes from core fans of English clubs, complaining about how plastic football has become and about how their clubs have become almost stolen from them by glory hunters, tourists and prawn sandwich eating fucks. I saw a comment from a Man City fan, saying that even before City tried to join the European Shite League, he had started to follow Stockport County. He said that throughout most of his life he had dreamed of success for City, like they had back in the late '60's and early '70's. However, now that they were winning things and in fact having the most successful period in their history, he had finally abandoned them, as he did not want their success to happen the way it did and was just generally sickened by the way football at the top level in England had become. He was sickened by the way his club had become commodified, by the way original fans (the sorts who stuck by them when they played in the 3rd Flight in 1999) were being priced out and by the way they were using "financial doping" (not the only ones to do this of course!), to achieve success! He wanted them to succeed without some billionaire sugar daddy just buying them success, even if achieving success without "financially doping" may be extremely unlikely. He seemed to think, rightly in my mind, that each of the two League Titles on their own that they won back in 1937 and 1968 were worth more than all the ones they had won since 2012 combined! I also remember seeing a documentary about Bill Shankly, where members of The spirit of Shankly Liverpool supporters group, were complaining about the way football had become increasingly plastic and expensive to watch and that Shankly must be spinning in his grave about the way football had now become! A member of that group also said in a radio interview, that Liverpool had no God given right to play in Europe and that, if Leicester City won the League and Liverpool finished, say 8th, then of course Leicester should be in the Champions League and Liverpool shouldn't even be playing in Europe, even if they are far more marketable and have far more international fans than Leicester. I've got total respect for him for saying that and I think that any fair minded person would agree with him!

As an Aberdeen fan i think the best crowds for chants and banter are Newcastle Celtic Leeds and Rangers when at the matches the instant replying chants are sometimes so quick and smart. The big english clubs tend to have go to chants that barely change. Man city and Liverpool get honourable mentions but the first four mentioned are hard to beat. Also the Tartan army are a sight to behold in full flow the big tournaments do miss the kilt wearing alcohol swilling lunatics. Big time.

Never read so much shite in all my life. Ibrox and Celtic Park are filled with majority from Glasgow, Scotland with some From Northern Ireland and ROI, with others coming up from England. The majority are from Glasgow though, as opposed to the English stadiums full of Chinese tourists and Americans who are clueless and quiet.

I'm in the USA but from Scotland and have been to a Rangers game in Ibrox. I think the MLS and SPFL are similar in quality of teams overall. Rangers and Celtic might be a little better than all the MLS teams, but if you take all the teams into consideration I say it's about even. But obviously Rangers have the best fans in the world.
