Spotsylvania County in Virginia is named after Alexander. I live in Virginia. I used to live on Spotswood Avenue in my city of Norfolk VA.

Uh, I believe we are cousins. If I remember right, it would be through the Payne family, my great-grandmother's line to the Spotswoods.
