I don't think Gwen is friend with the 26 yo blonde Peter in Miles universe. She was friends with the one back home of her own universe. I assume that one is in similar age of her too, since they are high school classmates and all, tho I've read the comic a long time ago. The Peter in Gwen's universe transformed himself into the Lizard and died eventually in a fight with Gwen, as it showed in the backstory scene that Peter's body has scales, this is why she had to close herself up and 'don't do friends anymore'. The smooth sequence of Miles running up to the top of the ceiling in the last battle is actually from the blonde Peter! The first time they met Pete was doing those moves to get to the top. I'm glad that he gets to be a piece in making Miles his own Spiderman.

Personally, I could totally see this Aunt May, knowingly dating one of Pete’s supervillains, much to Peter’s absolute horror. Maybe they even met during one of his fights! Don’t worry, May!” Spider-Man shouted, dodging a sharp jab from a tentacle. He flung himself back. “Just stay calm, I’m going to get you down!” “Peter!” May called, reaching for him. One of Doc Ock’s tentacles held her around the middle, leaving her helplessly dangling sixty stories from the ground. “Ooh, yes, Peter!” Doc Ock crowed, laughing to herself. “All those years, guarding your precious identity! Now one little slip -” May gasped as Doc Ock loosened her grip on her waist for a split second, then tightened it again “-and it’s your family who pays the price.” She paused, thoughtfully. “Your very attractive family. On whose finger I do not see a ring.” archiveofourown.org/works/16994790

I work in animation and I was living in Taiwan when this movie came out, and we're lucky in Taiwan to have entire districts filled with Movie theaters, most of them having 3D screening rooms. I had already seen the teaser one year earlier and as soon as I saw it, I was immediately hooked by it, thinking WHAT !? It's in ONE YEAR !!! I need it RIGHT NOW !!! One year later, the movie comes out, and I went to watch it in 3D (that was a cinematic experience out of this world !) And I went a second time in the same week... And a third... and a fourth.. In total, I think I went to watch it in theater 6 times ! And that's coming from someone who usually never watches the same movie twice, unless it's one that I really liked, I'll maybe go watch it a second time, or 3 times tops ! The only other movie I've watched that many times was Princess Mononoke, Miyazaki's best movie, and that was 20 years ago ! Each time I went back to the theaters to see Into the Spiderverse, I went back to show it to different friends, so that I could share its absolute awesomeness ! As an animation film director, this movie was nothing short of revolutionary ! I've never seen anything quite like this before, and to me, this movie instantly jumped up in my Top 5 best animation feature film of all time ! And that's coming from a professional. The only thing that came out recently that actually comes close (and probably even surpasses it) is Arcane, which instantly became my best animated TV show of all time, and is equally revolutionary in its visual style and storytelling quality. And now the first trailer for Across the Spiderverse is out !? And it's also in ONE YEAR !!!??? DAMN YOU SONY !!!! Why do you keep doing this to us !!!? What are we gonna watch in the meantime ??? Oh, well, I guess we'll have to watch that little No Way Home for snacks... (which, btw, I'm pretty sure was 100% inspired by Into the Spiderverse).

Spidersense is a lot more then a danger sense in the comics, at times it will put Peter into autopilot in avoiding attacks. Swinging in the city. Even protecting him by warning him of anyone who may spot him unmasked or find out his secret identity. With this movie establishing that their spider sense bounces off one another, I guess it leading some spiders to others like them isn't too farfetched. (However I never read the spidergwen comics so I wouldn't know if this is just how her's works. Also yes Miles is from the comics, the ultimate universe to be specific.) And in terms of Aunt May calling Olivia Octavius 'Liv'. In the main universe Aunt May and Doc Ock dated as well as almost marrying at one point. So this led many fans to theorize that Aunt May did date Olivia in this universe like her main universe counterpart dated Otto. However it's hasn't been confirmed and the two could've just been friends. We just know that they definitely have history. Also Miguel is also a character from the comics. A Spider-Man from a possible future set in the year 2099. And with him finally cracking tech to travel dimensions they might have him in the second one. (8 months late, but thought I'd answer those questions if no one else has yet)

11:49 I love how Peter B.'s nervous system lights up when Miles shocks him, instead of showing his skeleton, which is what usually happens when cartoon characters get electrocuted. This film is pretty scientifically-accurate, for a superhero movie!

Have a friend, who is deadly afraid of spiders. Once when we were heating home for a movie. I notes that the overhang was filled with spider webs and made the mistake of saying don't look up, he was frozen to the spot. So long story short I was telling him about this movie when found out that he has never watch any of the Spiderman movies. So I took him to see it, with the promise to tell him o any spiders coming up. I said no problem I will tell when it dead, should of told me to tell when it off the screen, OPP! He did love the movie and he has watch all of the other by the last two. I still do known how plays some video games at less without waking the kids.

He learns that one battle from Peter A Parker, the blonde version that offers to teach him and dies . Miles’ does nearly the exact same things that the OG Spidey does at the beginning of the movie. You caught on well that the movie mirrors itself, with much of the second half of the movie reflecting the first half.

Miles is hardly the first super to have to learn things in a hurry to deal with a serious situation after first getting empowered. But he'll still practice with his powers even after said situation now and then. Plus it helped that much of his skill came from built-in spider instincts.

During Miles leap of faith, he breaks the glass jumping off the building, because he's nervous, so his hands are sticking to the glass but he jumps anyway. A full leap of faith, no hesitation despite his fear. THATS what it means to be Spiderman.
