No word against the workout, but the carriers are not ergonomic, please, find out some information about what is good for babies when it comes to carrying.

Radka Humpolakova please watch the entire video before posting such comments. TICKS guidelines are followed, a babywearing consultant was on hand throughout and the carriers are all from Caboo one of the most respected makers in the business...i think they would all disagree strongly with you.

The position is not an ergonomic one. And yes, the carriers are also not ergonimic... this is sad... you should know better if you are promoting healthy habbits.

There are differing opinions on the safety of forward carrying. The major concern is that it can cause hip displasia and most experts agree that it is not a good idea. The safest way to wear a baby is woth their legs supported out to the knee in an M position.

The risk of hip dysplasia or dislocation is greatest in the first few months of life. By six months of age, most babies have nearly doubled in size, the hips are more developed and the ligaments are stronger, so are less susceptible to developing hip dysplasia....taken from hipdysplasia.org/developmental-dysplasia-of-the-hip/prevention/baby-carriers-seats-and-other-equipment/ the baby facing out was 10 months old at the time of filming.

there is no way around it, these carriers are terrible for those babies. it's NOT a matter of opinion, this has been proven.

Holy crap this is a hard workout! And I didn't even use weights and I can't do squats per my doctor so I did marching instead. My baby is less than 12 lbs!

I loved this workout. I'm an experience baby wearer and had a fit pregnancy so this was just fine for me at 8 weeks pp. would be challenging for someone who hadn't stayed fit for sure

Same! Im 6 weeks pp and this was perfect. And ive got a 12lb chunk in the carrier lol. For people that worked out while pregnant i find alot of postpartum workouts are way too soft. This is the only one that felt like i was doing anything really

For a postnatal workout this is way too intense. You're constantly working the legs over a period of 3 minutes - it's not a realistic postnatal workout without carrying a baby let alone with one strapped to you!

Is this work out Safe 4 weeks postpartum
@gonewiththenguyens95735 жыл бұрын
Stephanie Lugo no workout is safe 4 weeks. You need to be cleared at your 6 week visit if you had vaginal birth and 8 weeks for c section. I am 6 months pp and this is a good workout for me. I wasn’t able to start working out until 3 months pp due to a painful tear. It really just depends on how you are feeling once you get cleared from the dr. I would recommend starting with maybe some stretching like yoga at first.

Please stop promoting facing forward 😩 it is not only bad for their back and hip, it also gives the baby no chance to relax if it is tired or overloaded by stimuli.

Barely to see the dumbbells with the middle man and where is his baby?!😂😂😂😂😂😂
@urbanyoganyc5 жыл бұрын
Agreed.. These arnt good for baby and much less for the parent.. Unfortunately most carriers lack consideration of the person who is doing the carrying. The botton strap /buckle sits in the lumbar/ thoracic spine at its most venerable spot. All the weight is pulled forward by the baby and the parent suffers. Somebody needs to design something better!! And yes their posture is trash which will only perpetuate upper cross and lower cross syndrome. All the forward dumbell work is unnecessary for most people as moat of our daily tasks are forward i.e. texting driving sitting at a desk holding a baby feeding a baby etc. Great low impact program design but WHERE IS THE POSTERIOR CHAIN WORK IN THIS "TOTAL BODY" W.O.? Its essential for parents or most people!

I am very, very confused by how this is physically possible or healthy for joints, unless--maybe--you have been weight training for a very long time, or your baby is only 15 or fewer pounds. I babywear in my Ergo basically all day, every day, and have been doing so for the last four years (three babies). My youngest is almost six months old and 22lbs. I am fairly fit, have a nearly impeccable diet, and have been doing daily hiit for a month and a half (and was going on runs before that). I am only 11 minutes into this workout, and I had to pause to comment. My lower back and right knee are in terrible pain, and my quads are completely dead. There is no way that I can actually finish this workout without seriously hurting my back and knees. I never make excuses when I'm simply too out of shape for a specific workout, but something about this is just off. Way too much constant quad work, and wearing my baby while doing the squats and lunges somehow made it impossible for me to engage my glutes.

Why do people feel the need to workout or do yoga with their baby strapped to them? Im actually curious

Because sometimes it is the only way the baby's gonna let you w.o. otherwise they'll be crying the whole time you're not carrying them.

Great concept, poor execution. Why would you put over 4 ads in the middle of a workout with a baby?! I understand in the beginning and the end, as well as a rest period, but multiple in the middle of the workout where I have to pause everything and skip the ad, is that really necessary? you're defeating the purpose if you're actually trying to give moms a good and enjoyable workout. Add the blackouts in the video, it was a mess. I hope your future workouts take this into consideration.
@kellypond9276 жыл бұрын
This is not a full body workout. The is a leg workout with a slight burn going on in the shoulders. I do insanity on a regular basis and was looking for something that I could do with my baby. My heart rate never got above 135, my peak heart rate is 170. I barely made fat burning level on my fitbit. I think I gave this video a thumbs down because the title is misleading( not a full body workout) more of a leg work out. And it is in no way a hard workout.

This is bad to watch those poore babys hanging there like monkeys in trees. The carriers arent ergonomic, the hip and back of the babies arent supported as needed, this can lead to hip dysplasia and it isnt confortable for the little ones. Front faceing isnt recommended either. They should learn and then post videos. I wanted to watch it and exercise but this is just sad for babies and i couldnt watch how they hang there.
