@@ptech88 Living in Europe where the EV market is really heating up, Tesla has kind of just... stagnated... compared to the competition. Never owned one but driven a few, and to me, driving dynamics are quite important being a car enthusiast myself (who appreciates both combustion and electric). While they may be fast they are quite forgettable compared to other EVs I've driven. Also feel the early Model S is far better built than the current ones. They're not exactly easy to own in the UK either with many mechanics refusing to touch or even inspect them due to rather anti-consumer practices Tesla annoyingly holds. Usual case of bad company, good products.

This must be designed for different roads than I drive on. I will admit the "autosteer" part works great. I rarely, if ever, need to touch the steering wheel/yoke. However, the speed control is still a disaster, at least where I live. It "sometimes" gets to the speed I have set, but most of the time I'm CONSTANTLY on the accelerator to adjust the speed. It slows down for no valid reasons. When the speed limit increases, the set speed increases properly, but the car remains at the lower speed, by up to 30 km/h! Again, more nudges on the accelerator needed. The turn signals now come on WAY too early, sometimes 2-3 possible turn areas before the actual turn. All of these issues worked a lot better in 12.4.x. Steering has improved, but everything else has deteriorated here (Southern Ontario, Canada).

Also if it's not an interstate and it's 55 on a highway, take route 50 that goes almost cross country, it does that stupid picking it's own speed thing... usually going 53 if I don't press anything, it's pure pain. City driving end-end is really quite good now, so that's why I'm just begging for the same on highways. Does anyone else get random camera issues on the B-pillars? Some times says one of them is blocked. Might just need to take it in. 2023 HW4 MYP

Great drive and commentary! Try to find the "Deflicker" setting on your camera, set it to 60Hz or American, so that your buttons and ambient light don't flicker on video :) Oh and you're invited to Europe once FSD finally gets here for some tests! :D
@giorgiolelmi81752 ай бұрын
What are you talking about?? These are led buttons and work on low-voltage DC. This is not the same 120V AC type of electricity found in outlets. If it were then there would have been even the outlets for power.
@robotinreallife2 ай бұрын
@@giorgiolelmi8175 I suggested the "Deflicker" setting because some cameras can pick up flickering from LED lights due to their refresh rates, even if they're low-voltage DC. By setting your camera to match the frequency (like 60Hz for American lights), you can reduce or eliminate any flickering effect on the video. It's a common issue with video production, especially when shooting in different lighting environments.
