Not bad but nowhere near the Isley Brothers authenticity, intensity and soul. The singing wasn't great by comparison - of course these singers were well past their BestBy dates, illustrious careers notwithstanding.. Harrington was decent on guitar, but lacking all the easy and relaxed spontaneity and passion of Ernie Isley - he seemed very tense. Didn't quite get that fluid dreamy tone but then who does, right? Overproduced, lacking structure, but still suggestive of the original power of one of the best R&B classics ever recorded. Effort appreciated, very ambitious - now let's go look up the 0riginal kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGSul2R_rpp4bLc See what I mean?
