Daemon and Rhaenyra do have kids, you guys. Remember in episode 8 when they came back to KL and introducted their little sons, Aegon and Viserys, to the dying Viserys. It's such a small scene sadly, so it's really understandable that not many remember this.

Dameon and Rhaenyra have kids. She introduced them when the saw Viseys on his death bed, but it was a small scene.

min 5:00 You forget that we do have a scene in ep 2 where Viserys speaks to Alicent and has serious doubt if he was mistaken considering he saw Aegon a male son being crowned and the sound of a thousand dragons. He is conflicted if this is Aegon the son of Alicent.... so Alicent hearing this and thinking Viserys made a last minute recall on his doubt isnt that crazy to believe.

Yes! Everybody seems to have forgotten about that scene for some reason. I think that's why Alicent has Aegon crowned with the conqueror's crown, because that's the crown that Viserys mentions when he's telling her about his dream. Also, in the deathbed scene, Viserys even says to Alicent: "Aegon's dream. Do you remember?" It's perfect understandable for Alicent to think that Viserys is talking about that conversation they had next to the bonfire in Episode 3.

This frustrating thing about Alicent thinking that Viserys named Aegon heir is show's innovation😐 ( no spoilers here, don't worry) In the book, the greens don't use it all, they know Viserys named Rhaenyra heir but they just think that his words don't matter, since Viserys didn't bother to change the law. I really dislike this change because it makes people ignore really great and complex reasons for the conflict. Now, all people watching this trailers scream " not your Aegon" or "you are wrong, you base your usurpation on lies!". It's so sad, dude. The greens actually have great reasons ( for their universe), like Aegon being the firstborn son, Rhaenyra having bastards, Daemon being bloodthirsty&dangerous. And also people often forget the fact that Viserys became king ONLY because he was a male.The previous king Jaehaerys got the throne for similar reason - male line over female .So Aegon bases his claim on precedent that was set by two previous kings. Also, Viserys named Rhaenyra heir before Aegon's birth. He did it because it wasn't clear whether she or Daemon was his heir. But Viserys didn't take away Aegon's birth right. The thing is,Aegon doesn't need to be named heir. He was born heir by default. All the first born sons are heirs till their right is taken away from them ( even Sam Tarly in GOT was forced to join Night Watch, because he was the heir his father didn't want). But at least this argument Otto mentions in episode 10.

No one ever mentions the scene from episode 3 where Viserys tells Alicent about his dream of his son wearing the conqueror's crown. That conversation is directly tied to Viserys' doubting his decision of making Rhaenyra his heir. In the deathbed scene Viserys even tells Alicent "Aegon's dream. Do you remember?" It's perfectly consistent for Alicent to think back to that conversation from Episode 3 and thinking that in his final moments Viserys is making her promise to make Aegon king, just as in his dream. Which is Alicent has Aegon crowned with the conqueror's crown. In doing that, Alicent is honoring Viserys' dream, and his wishes.

The princess and daemon had three kids one of which died in the show during child birth. The other two kids between the princess and daemon were shown to viserys when they came to fight the claims vaemond was saying about the strong luc Jac and joffery. The princesses kids with daemon are named Viserys II and Aegon III. One of those two carry on the targaryen line after the dance of dragons. Rhaneryas mother was an Emma Arryn from the vale. Corlys's children with Rhenys are only 1/4 targaryen since Rhenys's father was a baratheon. So laena and laenor are only 1/4 targareyn 1/4 baratheon and 1/2 Valeryon between corlys and rhenys. So the children that daemon and Laena had are more targaryen then Laena and Laenor are they would be 3/4 targaryen 1/8 baratheon and 1/4 valeryon.

Daemon and Rhaenyra actually have 2 sons together. Ageon the younger and Viserys. In season 1, Finale Rhaenyra had a stillborn daughter named Visenya, but in the show, they never revealed the sex. And actually Rhaenyra is half targaryan because her mother Emma was an Arryn, but still had targaryen blood through her mother. So Aemma was half targaryen as well.

This is something for those that have read the books and know what is to come. And i could completely be wrong on what this scene is about and what episode it will take place at. But when Alicent says: " you have no idea of the sacrifices that were made to put you on that throne." I think this takes place after a lot of Blood and maybe a Cheese dinner. And the look Aegon gives... WOW, he is like: " Do I not? I just payed the price, tenfold. Do not talk to ME about sacrifice." And I love it. I could be wrong bit still something cool to think about.

There's actually a lot of incest on the show. Daemon and Rhaenyra have 2 sons. Aegon and Helaena have kids. Daemon and Viserys parents were siblings. Rhaenyra's parents were cousins.

Same i also don't blame Alicent to misinterpreted the stuff when Viserys on death bed, as people can change decision when they are close to death. A grt example is actually present in Targeryan history when Aegon4 was on his death bed he literally legitimized his bastards and given one of his bastard blackfyre simbolizing him as nxt ruler against his own son Daeron 2. So yaa people does does do this kind of shit on death bed.

In the books Aegon is not as evil and Rhaenyra isnt as good or rightful. On the other hand, someone is not less pure for not being the product of incest but if we go that route, Helaena and Aegon have 2 children together (they are married siblings) and Daemon and Viserys parents were siblings and Daemon marry his niece Rhaenyra. On top of that Daemon ex-wife, the Velaryon lady had a Targaryen mum which was his cousin (Rhaenys father was sibling to Viserys and Daemons parents).

Oh yes. She definitely chose to misinterpret his dying call for Aegon. One thing I love about this time period is the lack of definitive historical accounts. (If a fictional world can even have that.) Sure, there are records and stories. But each side even had their own Maesters.

Yes each side has Maesters. And some chose sides definitely. This is shown with Paecelle very clearly. However, Maesters don't necessarily have to be that way. Look at Wolkan and Luwin. Luwin served the Starks and Theon. Wolkan helped the Bolton's and Jon Snow. Maesters like the nightwatch don't pick a side (theoretically). They serve the house they are assigned to and if that house dies they will change to the conqueror or if they already have Maester return to the citadel.
