Profit, or rather, the lack of it to justify the agency's existence. While this is primarily the main reason why VTuber agencies fail, let's explore the internal problems of these VTuber companies to find out why most fail.

Y'know what agency is successful? MINE. USAGI PRODUCTIONS CAN SURPASS THE BIG 3 Edit: Before someone gets the wrong idea: The agencies mentioned in the thumbnails aren't all the "failures" I've talked about. I literally just thought of the first few small corpos off the top of my head and threw them together in the thumbnail. It's not that deep.

"Everyone can start a agency, anyone can be a vtuber, but not just anyone can succeed in it." Such a basic principle, but it's true. You need a vision in whatever you do or it isnt going to go anywhere. I always love hearing the corporate and business aspect to things such as vtubing, Nousagi's understanding and him teaching us is so insightful to whatever goes on behind the scenes. We'll all have our big break in our own way if we keep working towards it with a clear vision in mind. I look forward to see where depressed nousagi goes from here.

I'd argue that you need FAR MORE than a Clear Vision, you need Longterm PLANNING. Lots of people have Ideas & Concepts, but LACK the Planning needed for the Everyday & Business End. An it has to be LONG TERM! Not just "Until the Debt" or "First few months an then make it up as we go along"

It takes more than a vision. Twitch released numbers a while back saying "if you stream to 6 viewers or more you're in the top 11ish% of streamers, if you stream to 11 viewers or more you're in the top 5ish%." That means 90% of the people streaming on their platform are streaming to nobody essentially. Maybe 1% of streamers will actually bring in any tangible amount of money. Obviously we don't know the exact breakdown for Vtubers specifically but essentially all these Vtuber Corpos are hinging their business plan on having those 1% of streamers who can actually make them money and at some point be profitable.

And remember, even if you do everything right, it doesn't guarantee you will succeed. Just because someone fail does not mean they do something wrong. My favorite scene from The Office: Ryan: I don't get it, I don't get what I did wrong Dwight: Not everything is a lesson Ryan. Sometimes you just fail. That sums up life. Nothing is guaranteed. Doing everything right doesn't guarantee success. There's no recipe for guaranteed success.

When I was there it was already pretty frowned upon to @ the talents, I assume dms were already hard banned. I stopped watching when she got a little bigger. When I first came across her she got 30-50 average viewers and she could easily interact with chat even without superchats. Once she started averaging closer to 100 it became harder to interact with her without a super. Which isn't a knock against her, it's just how chat goes with more viewers.

I think that it doesn't matter if your oshi is in a small agency, what matters here is that people need to be connected and attracted to their content like me. My Oshi is Luna Rurine from WACTOR, and just because of that it doesn't want to say that is a bad VTuber, just they have to be recognized by people out there. Where it does matter is when the company doesn't take care about their talents, that's something that nobody wants to live, nobody wants to feel alone when they're doing their job, and that's why VTubers graduate from their companies. And yeah, that is my comment.

I love luna, she's the sweetest cinnamon roll you'll ever find. But she and all the W talents definitely falls under the "want to support the talent but not necessarily the company" category, you know? the sheer number of graduations and unprofessionalism shown on some of those left a rather sour taste in my mouth and wondering if the contracts and managers treat them fairly and if the talents that stay are staying because of the fear of losing all their hard work by becoming indies. No matter what though, I can say that the fans will support them on whatever they want to do and follow wherever they lead.

I started the hopeless descent (lol) into this rabbit hole with the very early days of Aqua and GEN 2, there wasn't Gen 3 or later gens back then yet so all the pressure falls down to the few Hololive senpais like Sora, Aqua, FBK, to carry the entire Hololive banner by themselves. so i agree with you. much later gens actually have it a little bit easier nowadays since the foundation is pretty much established already, not to discredit them or anything tho. During the first wave of Vtubers (Kizuna Ai, Kaguya Luna, Game Club Project, etc), there were also a few dramas related to mismanagement and oppression surrounding some Vtubers. I don't know which wave of Vtubers we're currently at, but i guess history repeats itself :/ The only differences are the reasons for the said mismanagement. But back to Wactor yeah i agree they have to tighten up their management side because they clearly have an eye for talent but keeping them seems like the challenge. I've heard the only staff they have is a CEO and maid chan which might explain things but i can't confirm that. On the bright side the last few gens seem to be succesful, having their first male gen be english focused seems like a good move in my book amd their next gen will be Spanish focused so i hope the issues that have caused that from their first 3 gens only 4 talents remain have been resolved.

To add to what is happening at wactor: Has a serious administrative problem, from their ceo, to the admins that manage their social networks. Not to mention the problems related to the lack of management of people who are dedicated to making clips whose videos have been deleted, some without justification because Wactor does not want them to have a bad image of the girls. Of which they have not even taken the time to make rules for the community. Also the problems of graduating girls all the time, and then making calls for calls in a very short time. This is not normal in a company. The only thing this has caused is to show the lack of knowledge and learning on the part of wactor to be in a continent they don't know.

Kinda reminds me of a JP clip I watched of Ryushen(kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6XFaKNrp699l6s) where a fan asked for advices on becoming a Vtuber, and they simply answered "you're way too late to the game". It really do be that the market is so oversaturated with giant names and the competition so cutthroat that getting recognition while starting from zero is almost insurmountable. I mean even for veterans, I've subbed to Tenjin Kotone for years before the name Hololive or Nijisanji ever even touched my ears, she currently has a whopping 350K subs, yet most of her streams barely break 500 concurrent viewers. At least her songs are still bringing in good numbers. But hell, same story can be said even to Nijisanji's own veterans like Dola and Kanda who, despite being recognizable by almost every Nijifan, hardly break 1000 concurrent viewers on an average stream. So if anything, I do find it admirable that some small agencies and indies can hang on for how long they did even when they never broke 100 concurrent viewers. And to be honest, I don't even know if it is a good thing to hope that they kept onto that dream, because it's not hard to see cases like Salome-jou and go "I hope I can get that some day".

Something I noticed this year, specially, is that a lot of small companies, and even the medium ones, got a bunch of very random people to become VTubers. People with either no talent or no charisma or none of the two. And it seems as you said, it happens because they have no vision. They just need whoever has a working computer and decent internet to be able to stream, no matter what content or the quality. Their focus is in the wrong place and that is another factor that makes them fail fast. Although even the big agencies have also done that but since those can have better management and reach, they can afford some mediocrity. But it's a bubble that will explode at some point once the audience realises they are wasting their time with someone barely entertaining.

agreed with this, new agencies don't have the experience in audition they seem to always let the weirdest bunch of people in, and then end up in controversies hololive on the other hand, is already very experienced in audition, they have so many applicants, and so their chance to find a real gem is more likely and I feel like they are very careful in choosing their talents

It's weird to think that there's people now that see Hololive/Cover as this all powerful company that's always been huge and THE place to be. I remember when it was just Sora, "Who the fuck is this?" or seeing a Fubuki clip "Oh, who's this new vtuber" I think as I go back to watching Ai-chan, Siro, and Mirai Akari. It's definitely harder now, but there's still room for vtuber agencies to grow and be Hololive size. As mentioned in the video, Phase Connect has a very bright future thanks to Sakana (and obviously all the girls). Right now they're about how Hololive was not too too long before the 2020 explosion of vtubing. Some of Phase Connect even garner more of an audience than some from Hololive or Nijisanji.

I have a lot of respect for agencies like Phase Connect and Kawaii Productions that have managed to stand against the tide of time. They offer some unique competition to the larger and more popular brands from Cover and Anycolor. Nene Amano from Kawaii, who is featured in this video, is one of my favorite small-corp vtubers. She clips herself and is genuinely fun to interact with. She's silly and knows her audience well. She provides a JP/EN experience, relatively fluent in both languages. I found her by accident and I've been 110% enjoying her content since.

Well, there's also the fact that there's only so many people Holo and Niji take in every year. Lots of the people who join smaller agencies are ones who tried to get into Hololive or Nijisanji, but didn't make the cut. That doesn't mean they lack talent ofc. just means Holo or Niji didn't think they were a fit for what they had in mind. But yeah, Those 2 didn't just magically gain their current level of popularity, it has taken them years of hard work to get to this point, and every new member who joins are fully aware of this, which is also why all of them still work as hard as they do, cuz you can't coast on name recognition alone. Yeah, you get big numbers on debut, but nobody will stay around if you suck xD

Another reason, is that with Hololive, Nijisanji and Vshojo having a virtual triopoly over the vtuber market, a small corpo trying to imitate/clone them will fail because people will just watch the main corpo instead. Why watch a hololive clone when you can just watch Hololive itself anyway? In order to sustain yourself you have to offer something that the Big Three don't. I've discussed this on the Phase Connect general, that a reason for their relative success is their, as you've said before, unconventionality, especially when it comes to Pippa (who plays the role Coco did in Hololive); they're an example of doing Talent Freedom right. Which is also why the censorship discord leaks were a big deal as it would kill their audience (or in the worst case scenario, get her graduated/"the banishment room")

As someone who watches a fair amount of these smaller Vtubers, corpo and indie, it makes me kind of sad that some of them are so underrated. They are so talented, but I know they are just fighting a saturated market. It makes me think “if only they joined a little earlier, they would be as big as Hololive or Nijisanji members.” Not that numbers are everything, tho, because many of these smaller talents have garnered a tight knit community that is probably way harder for larger sub counts to achieve. I just hope that everyone achieves the success they hope for in the long run!

As someone who owns an agency myself, I can confidently say that all the points you raise are hurdles to be taken extremly seriously when starting out. Considering that likely you will start out alone (as ~20k really isnt enough to hire anyone) you have to be able to not only be a passable talent manager but excel in managing a company as a whole. That is extremly difficult if you've never done it before. I was very fortunate to receive a lot of help over the first year. Otherwise I don't think I could have done it. I was also very fortunate for a big talent management company to hire me as a talent manager for their vtube branch. The experience I gained in the last 13 months is absolutely insane and tbh - if you are not willing to learn every day and put every waking hour into your startup, you're not gonna make it. Also going into this I had little to no experiences in talent management besides being surrounded by big streamers on the daily and seeing how they handle things. I told every talent that applied right away that I don't know nor can do absolutely everything. What I can do though is try absolutely everything. I'm fairly certain being open about any shortcomings was and is a major reason the 3 talents in that agency placed their trust in it and in me as their talent manager. This just became a mix of advice after one year of owning an agency and affirming your points so I guess I'm trying to say: good vid, keep it up!

Brazillian vtubing comunity is relatively new, but we also had our share of controversies when it comes to vtuber agencies. *Alive* started from a hololive clips channel in late 2020, and for some time it seemed they were doing ok, but then one of the girls exposed how the agency was mismanaged, how the CEO was delusional of being the Brazillian YAGOO, trying to copy hololive in everything and putting all expectations and pressure in their talents. All the talents decided to quit and the company fell appart. Another case was *Hoshiverse*, from early 2021. They did audictions, they took their time and in the middle of the year Hoshiverse's 1ST gen debuted... Only for the agency staff to say thanks goodbye in less than a month without any explanations whatsoever. Another one was *Arcana*. They really tried to make things right and play the long game, but had to endure the lack of public faith because of the previous two agencies. They didn't last long to tell the story or even debut. There was also the *VSysters and UwU tv* case, the agency tried to patron the group, but as far as I know UwU's CEO had a fight with one of the girls and for personal reasons kicked all of them. VSysters rebranded as Kira Kara, and some of the girls still continue. We have *Utopia Project*, a group composed only by Male vtubers. One of their tallents just gave up being a vtuber because of unrealistic expectations of being famous. Also the fact people badmouthed him and spread lies about him took a fair amount of his sanity. And we also almost had *Novastream*, a small soon-to-be-agency that I was going to participate as one of their talents, and that will never see the day of light because of manipulations and gaslighting of our CEO, exposed as he tried to throw people against me while feigning being friend.

I just want to say building a Agency and any company no matter what it is hard and takes time plus hard work it is never and I mean never easy as see you need money, manpower, resources and determination and of course consumers as we are the source of income for them. And I mean lots and lots of it. I am talking about years of it. Even our best girl Yagoo did that to. It got what Hololive is today a well known coperate Company where many joined his company not to mention have him as a CEO where not many act like him where the boss is having fun with the employees but also being stern at times when needed he is nice but fair to all his talents. He supports all his talents in ways other typical CEO don't. He show them lots of love and support like he is their parent. That is why many love to work for him. Yes even graduations make him sad it is like a kid leaving their parents. Yes even the OG Vtuber Queens Sora & former Vtuber Queen Kizuna Ai. Now Gawr Gura the new Queen to the throne. 'She' started from small to from a small idol company from one talent to a few and now to a huge entertainment company with dozens of talents lots of talented boys and girls. Rip Yagoo's dream. Anyway You start from small and build their way to the top. Just how Hololive did then Nijisanji and others came along. Same for the talents themselves. They working mainly for money while delivering happiness while trying to build their brand from small to big. Gawr Gura who gain popularity due to how she knows how to attract her audience yes the famous 'A', Shu Yamino especially I wanna mention building from nothing from Indle to something building a following with actual hard work then he is in Nijisanji. With that said tho even if it sounds nice being Hololive or other Vtuber company there are the pros and cons of Indle and coperate Vtubers. If you are a indle you will not face as much problems and you have a lot of freedom. But you won't have a company backing you up. Lawsuits won't usually be on your side. For coperation Vtuber you get paid a standard salary and get a model during your time at the company your expenses are paid for and supported you will have lots of fans supporting you financially and morally but beware of parasocial and Antis more likely to appear with Coperate Vtubers than Indle as they are bigger they looking for attention they of course will choose bigger Vtubers as they will use any reason to cancel you or date you yes even if it is a fantasy who would not want to be their partner who is a celebrity since you are famous they want to be famous to just like a certain male Vtuber. Or two. Be aware I advice against dating when you are a Coperate Vtuber as Idol culture is very bad as many will attack you and/or your partner as it ruined their fantasy even if the company allow expect fans unfollow you if you do some just follow for the dating fantasy. You have to deal with Backseating to lots of it. Especially from certain game fandoms. Also Know who I am talking about? Starts with a T. And the JP Vtuber is the one that is well known but turn out to be a abuser. Anyway when that happens they the company comes in for lawsuits. But it doesn't mean as a indle you won't get Antis, haters, drama makers and hate clippers and even harassment and doxxing especially true for smaller Vtuber as they view you as a easy target as not many know you and you may not afford a lawyer they can extort money and blackmail you like threatening to get your account deleted via copyright strikes which is so abused often since anyone can claim with no hard evidence or any good valid reasons. Typical KZbin. They can threaten to harm you even IRL since you are not known nor given any protection unless if you are a well known Indle which there isn't many of them most are under 10k subs..KZbin is a Coperation to they usually listen to those bigger channels as companies care mainly one thing. Money. Also in return for all of that from Coperation you will not have as much freedom in return. You have expectations and requirements to meet as it is a full time job. You are required to attend meetings and such you should know as lots of them in Hololive mentions them often before they end stream. Everything you do will need to be approved by manager san and you need to follow rules. If you get terminated for any reason most commonly I see is contract breach your 'content' and channel which you do not officially own where a indle does your content will be gone. Coperate can also fire you at any time for any reason. Even for no reason if corrupted management. There is also a chance for the company to suddenly close. Every job at a company is the same. Graduation same as terminated you will have to return the model and accounts back to the company you will get revoked all of your rights to access to those accounts and model same as you would when you leave any job in any company once you do there is no turning back because the big difference between termination and graduation is termination your channel and all content on it will be gone unless clipped or archived by others as for graduation usually some companies will allow the channel and all streams to remain up even after graduation but all membership stuff though will be disabled plus merch all will stop production plus selling and on top of that no more streams or updates will be available to the talent's channel some may delete/private all of the videos weather they graduate or termination but it is best to graduate than terminated your videos can still stay up where terminated talents will have all of the content removed no exception where a indle it is their own model and streams they can keep them or delete them they won't be forced to it is only your own accord. For indle if you change your mind for graduation or even come back is possible but once a graduation is planned for a Coperate Vtuber it is almost set in stone usually as they discuss in length before decided it they will be giving the talents time to say their final goodbyes one month advance terminations usually is on the spot with no graduation stream immediate revocation of the talent's channel and model and they usually won't be allowed back once they graduate they might go to a different company like a certain green necromancer ahem now in a certain company as a neko now.. or join back again later but as a different identity. Be aware don't assume being one is all about creating content and playing games. It will eat up your life and some of your money as models are expensive nowadays unless you commission a model or make one yourself. Which can cost about 50 Dollars and can go up to couple hundred dollars. Even thousands of dollars. If you get terminated which is the risk being in a company you may get a record if it is criminal activity and finding another actual job and another Vtuber company will be way hard with a criminal record. Indle has slower growth while Coperate Vtubers has higher growth. There are ups and downs between Company and Indle Vtubers consider those and everything I explained before you decide Whoever you want to be if you are the next Vtuber weather you will choose to be a Indle or coperate Vtuber I wish you all the best. Being a Vtuber is not easy. If you think it is don't be one. It takes lots of hard work, passion and energy. You can suffer burnouts and feel it is inaff. If you want to earn money be Coperate Vtuber if you want to do it as a Hobby be a Indle if you become big like a certain indle do it as your part time job I advice not to treat it as full time as you don't get as much from being a indle. Physical and Mental health is also a factor between each of the two groups Indle or Coperation. Little growth but more freedom or big growth but less freedom plus stress? Your choice. Good luck to all of you! Thanks for reading all if you did read all the way! I have fun typing all of this. Fiona

Back when I was in college, I remember we had a class near the end of the career that was basically about how to manage a business, and one detail from it that I think small corpos would really need to remember is that you'll always work at a loss during the first couple years. As their fellow competitors in the past have demonstrated, it's not the lack of immediate profit that caused them to fail, but their attempt to rush the process. Companies gain big numbers, but that's because they operate in large units in general, and that includes time.

Small agencies have shown me both the best and the worst that the vtuber industry has to offer. Some of them are amazing with great talents, some deserve to have crumbled. I'll always be cheering for the smaller companies like Kawaii Productions or Phase Connect since they seem to have solid goals and respect for their talents. And many of the small company or indie vtubers really do deserve the support and I hope to watch them grow, despite how hard it is to make headway in the market right now.

Well done Nousagi-Kun! You are correct in many aspects. As you mentioned, any start-up business is more likely than not to fail. Having corporations expecting profit from the get-go is rather rushed. I believe most small independent Vtubers have come to realize that Vtubing is not for the money and profit but rather the aspect of loving what they do and talking to great people. So please ladies and gentlemen, support your favorite Vtubers! They are there because they want to be there with you!

i disagree that vtuber market is completely saturated, it all depends on which market you will focus on, examples is how wactor is the only company currently that focuses on a spanish speaking audience and polygon project who only got like 5 or 6 talents focus solely on a thai audience. as for en focused companies outside of phase connect is production kawaii and prism project(i would have loved to say tsunderia but it is hard to know their situation after a ton of their talents suddenly graduated) my main point here is that there are still a lot of untapped markets wether it be based on language, countries, online games that other companies barely play (or do not play at all) or other interests that no one else has even considered at all

Man go to Twitch recommendations for a while and maybe you will definitively change your mind. Every day a bunch of new small vtubers always pop up in my recomendations, and i put enfasis in "new", because i see one of them and then almost never again, all of them dropping numbers around 100 to 300 views per stream. It's a fact that the vtuber market exploded drastically during the pandemic and since then the community and the market are nothing but growing more and more. Almost every gamer, weeb, nerdy culture streamer wants to be a virtual youtuber somehow, damn even people that wasn't even remotely interested in vtubers in the past now have their own avatars like RPR

There has to be a good balance between the company and their talents. In most cases, it's either good talents with bad management or good company with bad talents. I have seen so many things in the industry and whenever I try something new, it always end up with controversies leading to graduation, termination, or even disbandment, and I always found myself back to my comfy spot watching already successful talents from hololive. Watching new talents doesn't feel like what it was back in the days. Now that the market is oversaturated, all kinds of people are joining the industry, I can't help but feeling sceptical when I found someone new because they only show you their "debut" face and haven't shown their real personality. Will they end up failing because of controversy, only time can tell. Hololive has experienced ups and downs, but they are in a good spot right now. I trust their experience in the industry and I'm enjoying the ride. With so many people applying for the talent position, they have to be super selective, and it resulted with actually talented people, real gems. Oh also this is a rule of thumb I made for myself when watching someone new: - if they treat their fans like friends: great - if they treat their fans like lovers, but for the joke: good - if they unironically treat their fans like lovers, a menhera, a GFE: RUN AWAY

They're good people n i'd like to think they'll go far. xiulan and nunki are doing pretty well for themselves and whilst they aren't all particularly big, they all have fairly steady growth, and even the few talents that graduated still chill with the other talents in the agency or even help out in management roles. i'd recommend checking em out if you don't know them.

Something that i personally saw in hololive was that the company seemed to care, i was there when the Coco stuff happened. If your company isn't big and can't pay the employees a lot, the best they can offer is a place where people would want to be, if they feel comfortable and can trust the people they're working for want them to grow it's good enough. But I don't see a lot of that in other agencies, they think they're niji or holo, but they're not, they can't offer the same level of exposition.

Summary of wactor: I gonna repeat what I mention in one of the many comments. See hina misora. One of their most successful talents. They are a Japanese vtuber agency that at first started with Japanese audiences and such. However, they didn't find success. Then tried to allured the english audiences. That didn't work either. However, a vtuber named miu wactor decided to shift to spanish audiences and there they find the spanish audiences regardless of their language barrier. Wactor changed their direction with spanish audiences. Miu kept involving with the spanish audiences with the aid of google traductor . Her subscribers count grew like never before. However, the one talents that made wactor gains more successful was the arrival of hina misora, a Japanese vtuber that knows to speak Spanish and the spanish audiences took a liking since to her debut having a large views count of 5,000 were watching her and have 10k likes. It's not as big as hololive view counts but her debut was among the most wactor successful ones. In one year she has gained 224,000 subscribers. She has made collabs with the likes of reimu of nijisanji many times, even the vtuber like nimu appeared in her streams. Collaborated with the likes of rakkun, emikukis, lunaria. These are famous latin american vtuber. I don't blame you don't know about them since they cater mostly to Latin American and chinese audiences where they are most successful. They really have a chance here. They just need to manage better their success and act like a real company than do those huge mistake time after time and try to help the other talents not be so easily forgotten since many vtuber go so incredibly fast. Their success is thanks to Luna, hina misora, lia and miu. If those were to be gone, they will be forgotten. They have to think how to promote better the other channel that are way smaller than them. Latin American vtuber have grown as well with the likes of nimu surpassing ironmouse with 2 million subscribers on twitch, zilverk with 2 million subscribers on KZbin which calloborated with fillian many times, emikukis, rakkun, lunaria and etc. These among the most famous of the Latin American vtuber. This years have a snificsntky growth on Latin msrticsn vtuber.

I pretty much think that in order to survive in this over saturated market is to make themselves unique among others and at the same time companies should invest big on their talent and maybe give their talents some milestone incentives like what hololive is doing in order to motivate them to continue streaming and do something unique. Companies should also as much as possible try to do a strict background check on those that is auditioning so that to filter out a possible liability in the future....

For me, The prove of COVER playing the long game is the creation of HOLO ID branch. At the time of the creation of the 1st Gen, there was really no way of making any money out of them. no superchat support, no access to merchandise, vtuber were still unknown to ID audience, and I don't think anyone knew Indonesia well to attract international audience. but lo and behold, ID branch became having one of the strongest communities in hololive

While Holo ID has definitly surpassed Niji ID (hell, Niji ID isn't even called "ID" anymore they merged the branches) I would like to point out that Nijisanji ID started before Hololive ID. Not like Superchat, Membership and Merch are the only way to make money as well. Both sell voicepacks and used Soicabuzz/Streamlabs for donations. Holo ID certainly handled it better and saw (and sees) more success thought I am not well informed to be able to say what they did well that Niji didn't but still, I don't intend in the slightest to denigrate the achievements of Holo ID, just saying that I don't see the starting situation being as negative as you seem to see from your comment.

It simple really, if company honest with their talent and believe in potential, then both win win. Hololive and lot veteran vtuber prove that. Silly idea like company better than indie or opposite if taking to far always gone bad. All top always balance. That why them success.

Something I want to note is that new vtuber agencies are not guaranteed to surpass Niji and Holo. They might find new and innovative ways to broaden their audience, or simply continue as is, and still continue to be the Titans of the vtuber industry. Google, apple, Microsoft and Facebook/Meta have been around for nearly/past a decade and are still the leaders in the tech industry.

I think you overlook a very significant thingie when talking about how Hololive/Nijisanji survived. They made a lot of mistakes at the start like any of those Vtuber companies, but since there weren't much competition on the Vtuber agencies at that time, they could just endure the consecuences and keep going. Right now, the competition that Hololive and Niji make is HUGE, so any new Vtuber agency is walking on thin ice. If they made some sort of mistake, their momentum is lost, because people will just lose interest and go back to Holo or Niji.
