relationship contracts are a terrible idea. If you need a contract for your relationship then you're in the wrong relationship. Treating love like a business is a formula for failure. Thinking that this piece of paper is somehow going to make your relationship successful is folly. It's just giving your partner a stick with which to beat you with on a regular basis.

If your getting into marriage and signing a contract for that isn’t that like a business where there are rules and values that you follow.. hate to be the one to break it to you but you have a relationship with your work too, just because you haven’t spoken or wrote your standards on paper don’t mean that you to have a unspoken contract that if we’re broken you would terminate the relationships, just like in a job if you were to mess up you could be scolded or terminated.. Any relationship has a unspoken contract Friends, family coworkers, your kids babysitter, even your pet if it attacks you chances are your letting it go.. But sure you can willynilly it and just be in a relationship and things could go great, but it’s easier to navigate a life together if y’all are literally on the same page with the same goals. Outlining you values expectations and giving someone else the opportunity could solve a lot of issues in the future or avoid getting involved with someone who doesn’t really align with you..

this is terrible advice. relationships are an opportunity to become more loving. this cannot happen in a contractual relationship. do not bring commerce into your home.
