So, starting from scratch and team situation are in Akiyama favor. However, if we add factor of Death Note case, Akiyama would struggle in deduction since Death Note case without Light Yagami's mistakes on killing Lind L Taylor is better than Red John case.

Johan is a well written character, not a smart one. People can't fathom this, his manga inherently is a psychological one but not an "outsmarting" one, so it's a given those types of characters would beat Johan. Majority of his feats are unexplained, no thought processes shown, or offscreen entirely. Statements and narrative. You could tell a Johan fan "Baki beats Johan in a fight" and they would still debate it because of pure blind bias. Johan isn't even meant for "outsmarting", in the same way he wouldn't scale well in a fight.

I agree Akiyama wins however you said that Light's fluid intelligence isn't as great since he analyzed a graph which is taught in schools but Akiyama also used the basic concepts of Permutation and Combination and common sense to figure out the virus outbreak. It was decided contact would happen in a 5-5 rotation way since it's obvious that the virus wouldn't spread in that way. It takes about 2 min for any avg graduate to figure that out. After the first round of contact, everyone would create a vaccine that prevents the virus from spreading further. Hence every contact after the 1st round involves an infected with a normal(+1 or more) which means the infected becomes normal and normal becomes infected. Hence all the spreading only happens in round 1 and stops after that, the spread is basically 2X of the original no. of infected. This is much simpler than what it looks on the surface and even a high schooler with avg intelligence can figure this out. Yokoya spreading the virus is even simpler. All he did was contact with 5 Normal+0 players in round 1 itself, hence in the next round no. of infected increased by 2X and all 10 players became infected. A simple analysis and deduction feat I'd say. However, given he did this in very short amount of time I will give him that it's still impressive. But not more than light figuring out the company's relation to the death note, since here there are way too many companies and to figure one out of many is impressive. Light was quickly able to compare death note killings to each company's revenue and it's growth per month and figure out what company was actually suspicious with 100% accuracy. Tbh both feats are kinda mid and neither of these guys is more intelligent than an average 1st tier university graduate.

I myself am a Top Ranker of the IIT JEE Exam. It's an Engineering Entrance Exam and the 2nd Toughest Exam in the World. I secured under 500 rank out of 1.5 million total applicants and am studying in a university ranked at 118 Globally. The author of Liar Game studied from a university that ranks like 1200 or something. So ya no way am I dumber than him. None of the characters from Liar Game even have a singular atomic chance to win against me. I'd fck them up in every way tbh. Whether it's problem solving skills, calculation, mathematics skills, analytical skills, deduction skills or just pure intelligence, none of them can ever win against me.
