Being on a budget is one thing, and living literally as far away from these suppliers as you can physically get means all of the sweet bolt-ons that are shown triple in cost after shipping and currency conversion. So I have to be very well researched and considered when choosing what I invest my money in. That said, bang for buck the 25mm rear sway bar gets me most of the improvements mentioned for a fraction of the price and only a slightly more harsh rear ride quality. Back to back the Bilsteins would doubtless win, but the sway bar is a great option if you need to improve handling and redirect more money elsewhere.

Did they put the adjustment cup in the rear in the top or bottom of the coil ? Haven’t got around to installing mine yet an didn’t see it specified in the instructions

I'm looking at these for my daily driver 07 s40 t5.. I just want to lower it an inch or two for cosmetics... Maybe only level out the back.. Should I? Btw I'm getting new tires on factory 16s at the same time.

Honestly it actually looks like it rides better over those grates that my stock C30. Maybe the initial hit is a bit harder? But it looks more controlled after that, mine has a tendancy to shake a little after each pothole, but that may be the dampers on the way out not sure :/

Now you've got coil overs and good ones at that (what made you chose them over other brands?) have you put in shaft spacers to save the driveshafts? Sadly the shafts will now sit at an angle they don't like and tend to fail quickly, here in the UK we have a c30mods website and it's got a lot of info on the different mods available for these, but dude keep the videos coming I need more inspiration for my red t5

Honestly a lot of the guys I completely trust in the c30 world run bilstiens so it was kind of a no brainer. Plus the lifetime replacement warranty from www.fcpeuro.com made the decision a no brainer. I have not gotten the spacers. Tha ls for pointing them out. And the vids will keep on rolling. Next week is gonna be a good one.

We don't get fcpuero here in Scotland sadly 😢 would save so much money haha, ahh fair enough maybe you should do a video with the different options for the. 30 coilovers, as it's the same platform for the mazda 3 mps and the focus st/rs mk2. But yeah I'd highly recommend saving yourself some cash in the long run and getting the shaft spacers and camber adjusters for the back end. I've been watching your vids and keeping notes on what to buy first and I think I'll end up making an exhaust. If you ever come over this side of the pond your welcome to come see it and I'll organise a c30 meet for you

Jonathan, europerformance have the B14s at a crazy price here in the U.K. I got some for my D5. The spacers depend how low you go. On a C30 R design which is already lowered I’d only go 10-15mm on our roads. Rear camber arms, arb, rear strut brace and you have transformed the c30 into something very interesting.

Tbh Dan at the price of new shafts I myself would go for the spacers to be on the safe side, knowing my luck I'd leave them and they would fail on me 😂 my t5 would shit them out if I lowered any further than standard 😂 especially the local roads i drive

Completely different animals. Mostly due to the driveline. I prefer rwd, always have. Its difficult to explain but you just felt so connected to what the m3 was doing. It is one of the best vehicles I've ever driven... when it was working correctly which it wasn't most of the time in owned her. The c30 still feels heavy in the front compared to the M3. That said the c30 is much much better than she was without the coilovers. She is truly a phenomenal daily driver. And even with the boost leak she is WAY more reliable than the m3 ever was. So I can have more fun more often.

To be fair Bilstein B14 are a very good all rounder, some coilover's on the market aren't progressively sprung and would be more of an issue.

Almost all cars do have coil overs. I think you might need to be educated on what a coil over is.
