Great content, but I can't help but notice that all the SEALs I watch all have the same "mmmkay". I wonder were it came from lol

Thank you. Took me way too long to figure out the importance of bar speed.

Great informative dive. I generally go up in Wt lighter to heavy, high rep to low and back up in wt down in reps. Don’t know the why, just the way I was taught ? Good or bad?

But isn’t 3-5 reps max weight without slowing down in the last couple reps (so not really max), not the best for stimulating muscle growth or strength?

So he thinks that’s the best for consistency right? Like shooting targets or endurance

Watch the average form of a gym rat. It’s far from perfect, and that’s what Jeff is trying to avoid. The movement pattern proficiency is way more important than the way when it comes to athletic carryover to your run time, push ups etc. If you’re constantly using weights that are too heavy your form and acceleration is probably dog shit, teaching your body bad habits under stress. Unless your a power lifter, weight is tertiary to the goal
