That part where he mentions animals half bleeding then just move on to grazing struck a chord with me. I'm carnivore for about a year now. Beef butter and eggs. My wife left me about 6 weeks ago. Of course it hurts and I have a moment here and there. But I'm surprised at how I can acknowledge the pain almost from a 3rd person point of view, then just get on with my day. I'm in my mid 30's. The absence of sugar and carbs really helps with your ability to comprehend and understand life's tragedies. I remember how I used to be before dieting and I don't think I'd be coping as well as I am now. If anyone is going through hardship, I strongly recommend a carnivore diet. Hit the gym, get some sun, re evaluate your circle. And definitely ditch the coffee. Your life will change and you'll be strong enough to not only handle what lemons life serves, but you'll see the silver lining in it all.

@@NerantzakiHi!! Thanks for sharing this. Could you specify the differences between before and after stopping drinking coffee? Did you do it little by little? Can you share the process with us? I think it will be useful for most people who follow this channel. I mean, things like: How many cups a day and what time did you used to drink before? And so on. If you can and want to write a little more about it, will be very helpful. If not, never mind. Of course it's your choice. Thanks anyway!!!

Brilliant discussion. A modified Johns Hopkins ketogenic medical protocol gave me my life back. I suffered a traumatic brain injury from inhaling organophosphates and pyrolized hydrocarbon solvents. I was told I would never walk normal and as a commercial airline pilot, certainly never fly again... they were wrong. Not only did I regain bodily energy and function but got my medical license to fly again. The doctors couldn't believe I reversed the injury. I say modified Johns Hopkins because they actually recommend sugar free soda pop and ultra low grade meat (baloney and wieners). Unfortunately the high fibre gave me diverticulitis which I finally overcame when I went almost full carnivore.

OMG! Just wanna share my recent experience linked to carnivore! I started this diet a year and a half ago. Had my ups and downs, but eventually got used to it and followed it pretty decently! My results: clear thoughts which can operate at speed of light! I am energetic and even started to study nurtrition while working full time! No problems! But a week ago I decided to have a cheat meal and ate my mom’s baked stuff. Oh my f….g God - here I’m having brain fog, feeling like a retard, regretting that crappy decision, having muscle crumps… 😂😂😂 Lesson learnt - no point in these cheat days!!!! On carnivore I feel way better in my 40s than I ever felt in 20s! It is definitely worth trying and following this carnivore diet. Life unfolds it’s absolute beauty.
@dybusmariusz
@dybusmariusz 2 ай бұрын
Exactly! I've learned the same the hard way and it wasn't a cheat meal- it was kabanossi sausage bought at the store with 2% of fibre. What I'm really suggesting it's the fibre that's killing us in so many ways because that fibre was inside the meat. Since my accident I've concentrated on fibre when gathering information and then my comments were removed many times I mentioned and logically proved its detrimental effect on our body.

Brother had motorcycle accident 4 days ago. Had helmet on but still sustained head/brain trauma. Surgery to drain hematoma between skull and brain/brain stem. Has midline shift started at 10mm but decreased to 5mm after surgery. On vent and is currently in a coma. They have feeding tube in feeding him liquid “crap” that contains HFC along with a lot of unacceptable ingredients. When I asked about feeding him exogenous ketones or at least getting him into ketosis they said absolutely not. That he needs a high calorie diet while he’s on the vent This makes no sense. Does anyone have experience on this or direct me to research or any further information!!! He’s not diabetic. But his lab work showed Blood glucose at 160 during one of the lab draws. This can’t be good for the brain.!

I know it may sound like “surrendering”, but (for both your sakes) it could be best, at this acute early stage, to just trust in their knowledge and medical skills with such physical trauma, now. I am so disappointed, 4 months in on pure meat, mostly ruminant, eggs, mostly town bought, and butter, and I have no really noticeable improvements. My energy is down, my clearness of thought is down, I am off balance some to a lot all day, I feel extremely fatigued after 10ish minutes of easy labor in garden and yard, I have about a 2 hour recovery from that, and have prostate problems which have gotten worse where some of the problems are: hard to urinate, smaller stream, 6ish times a night urination, and impossible manly duties. Just hang in there.... I am 85 and on it since last december and the first 3 months were Hell and even after that i am still dragging this body around. Meat- eating fats and proteins are not a Magic Wand and wish they were! Old bodies like yours and mine take lots of time because we really have damaged them. But you have nothing to lose if you continue but much to gain.... I still have days when I am crawling but again I would be crawling too if I would go back to eat the something I have before. And now I just cannot imagine eating veggies', fruit and nuts again! Do not compare your adventure with other peoples adventure after all we are responding differently. Allow your body to get better and slowly you too will feel much better mentally too.Eat well! Elizabeth

It’s great that you’ve made the change and you should continue. I don’t want to be too negative but you are 71 and have lived this insulin resistant, processed food life for at least 65 of those years. You are not going to get better quickly and that is IF you get better. There may be some permanent damage but overall you probably can get better but it will take a while.
@soloauditor
@soloauditor 2 ай бұрын
@@OmayyaAtout I am glad you mention ''permanent damage'' because that is the results of feeding the body with the wrong fuel decades after decades. Mine is wrack but not my Mind. Attitudes count a great deal; how we view our life in general. If the person believes that he or she cannot make it than this belief already stops that person from feeling better. Positive attitude is a must.

I am experiencing on a pure animal based diet since 7 months ago. Some positive effects like the increase of Testosterone from 275 to 700 ng/dl in 4,5 months. 5:54 But you cannot compare the level of ketosis, consequently anti inflammatory effect, new stem cells creation or autophagy, you reach in a deep proper fasting (so minimum around 72h normally, that's when those things start) with eating regularly, even if you eat 0 carbs. The level of ketones (5-7 mmol/l) and glucose (55-65 mg/dl), I reach from 72h on out of fasting, is not comparable that ones I have on a zero carb (ketones 0.5-2.5 mmol/l - glucose 75-85 mg/dl). Definitely, your body is not in "deep ketosis/starvation/autophagy/catabolism" mode when you aren't in a such deep fasting and you are eating regularly. And even less, if you eat a real nutrient dense food, like a quality source piece of fatty meat. From my experience, I think both things are necessary, proper fasting and proper nutrition or feasting:), like yin and yang. I think you say a lot of useful, based science, coherent and interesting things generally. But concerning this argument about "autophagy" specially, I think you talk without having true knowledge. For me, Theoretical knowledge + auto experimentation = True knowledge.

Arterial plaque is a response to damage not a cause of damage. Problem is damage done required intervention. Ask yourself what caused the damage then? Drs Ben Binkman & Paul Mason specialize in determining cause which points to carbs period. Consensus is there no essential carbs in a human diet

@@johngonzalez1193 Many people experience slow or no weight loss while they are detoxing and healing from the years or decades of damage from a poor diet. The older you are, the longer it may take. You can try doing water fasts to help jumpstart your metabolism and give your digestive system a rest. A fast can help your body begin to use its fat stores for energy.

@@johngonzalez1193 But no, a true carnivore diet will adjust your satiety hormones and make it nearly impossible to overeat. You just won’t want to eat anymore when you feel full enough on fatty meat. It’s very different from the feelings of hungry and full on a diet that is mostly carbohydrates.

Histamine intolerance. It was the same for me. Try only eating fresh lamb and butter for a week. Strictly no cheese, beef, eggs or bacon. Works for me. It heals eventually on this diet, then you can eat normal carnivore.

Lots of variables but look at bile production… any itching or pressure in the upper right abdominal area under the right rib cage? Classic low fat absorption symptoms. The TUDCA suggestion for 90 days and acupressure like with a massage gun (I used a tool handle really hard) should help

He is full of shit, if you hadn't already guessed. Glucose is the brain's preferred fuel. Ketones may _suppress_ it, if present, which doesn't at all mean the brain would prefer that, and glucose is always preferred, and necessary. Of course one doesn't need to go through the trouble of explaining the need for carbs, when all you gotta do is listen to these geniuses.

Oh, this is high level comedy. "Are the manufacturers of junk food intentionally trying to destroy peoples's brains to be able to control them?" I guess there is no surprises here - a supposedly grown man afraid of plants _would_ see ghosts everywhere.
