The lady with the hat is right I think. People need enough rest and to show appreciation for each other. It's a lot easier to be in the mood when you're not stressed out and you feel like your spouse still likes you.

Call me crazy but I don't see the point of being in a sexless marriage while giving up half or even more of your stuff.

Many of the interviewees seem to think that the desire to have children would be the main (only?) reason couples would have sex... Though the two topics are not completely unrelated sexlessness and birthrate decline are not the same issue.

I've said it before, this guy should be asking so many of the women out for a coffee after the interview. He's missing out if he isn't doing it. So many of the women are layups for a coffee date. Who knows, he could meet his future Mrs Interviewing Japan if he does it. Haha

@@overthewebb that's what we all do over here. i don't know one english teacher that hasn't humped a few of his students, usually the cream of the crop. and yes they do quite often end up marrying them. English conversation class = vetting & dating service

This phenomenon is happening in every modern culture. Japan seems to be getting hit the hardest. I believe it's because their men are divorced from their historical warrior ethos

same in america and anywhere in the world...maybe in america u get like once a month starfish action...if youre lucky....but it basically comes down to the woman not being attracted (never been) to her husband. They just marry to not end up alone...the other women (40%) put up with it more often (husband has money) or the husband is just good looking.
