I'll be honest... that kind of thing is something that irks me about church as a whole. Folks feel the need to chime in at everything a preacher says, and it's distracting. Especially in a Hinn or Copeland-type sermon; it's a thought-stopper that subconsciously tells you "hey, other folks say this is correct, therefore it must be!" I get being moved to praise, but that's just being a distraction.

I used to attend a Charismatic church for about a year when I was dating my wife. Somehow I managed to put up with the lunacy. But once they got into the Laughing In The Spirit craze, I left that so-called church faster than a flash of lightning. And while there, they acquired a house to be used for their permanent church building. Naturally I'm deathly afraid of heights. The pastor wanted me to climb over twenty feet up the ladder to paint. I told him I'm afraid of heights and I wouldn't do it. BIG MISTAKE! He casually told me fear is not from God. I didn't care what he said. I refused to climb up the ladder. He went up the ladder. He wasn't a happy camper, but I didn't care.

Many people are looking for a “spiritual” feeling. Without reading the Word, people don’t know that they’re supposed to test the spirits. I really hope people’s eyes are opened.

You also have to remember that false teachers will quite often provide between 90%-99% truth at times throughout their ministry, so the internet gives clips of the most ridiculous false teachings straightaway, but what the internet doesn't show is the fuller parts of a false teachers sermons that are delivering some actual truth to the converts...that mixed with false converts itching ears makes for a mass following of false teachers...because many walk the broad road, even(especially)religiously
