Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. Hope everyone has a happy holiday season! At 9:32, apparently the person is so much of a master that she doesn't need the screen on to write a book. I talked about changing this with my editor but we thought it was funny and just left it.

Based on personal observation, when someone is focused on being "successful", famous or innovative, they just end making stupid overhyped stuff. But when someone is focused on being Actually good at what they do, even if it's something simple, or not very popular, they have a better chance of making a breakthrough

In case you're not aware of this, your title has been automatically translated by ai. A couple of days ago, KZbin made the automatical translation for videos turned on by default. This means not only that your title is translated for the non-english audience, but there is also an ai dub available for your video (I think for 5 languages). For us users, there's no way to turn this off (which I find quite annoying because I do understand english as most of the content I watch is in english xD), but you can go into your settings if you don't want these translations. I personally find that the ai does not always make a good job at translating the title and it might even influence your viewer numbers, as it's not clear for us viewers that your video is actually in english. But of course it might also make your content accessible to users that don't speak english. I'd recommend that you do some research to see if you want this feature enabled. Happy holidays (and great video btw). :)

FYI not all videos get automatically translated, for some reason. It isn't translated for me but occasionally I see a random video translated. I'm trying to train the algorithm by ignoring those videos or marking them as uninteresting.

This video perfectly summarized why upon my physiotherapist mentioning I should start a KZbin channel, that I had to tell him I've absolutely no interest in creating content or being an influencer. There's already enough out there and I want to help people in person, also that my best influence comes from motivating people in person to want to workout or take up physical hobbies due to my passion and energy, and staging it for content seems fake and hokey to me. Otherwise, I just like to study and train myself increasing my knowledge and skills in multiple areas of interest, which will be beneficial in helping others in the same or similar areas, and creating content would just take time away from me doing what I actually enjoy and love doing: Learning, Training, and working with people.

Hello Hampton, I want to ask you some serious questions as I’m very confused about making my decision. I have been going to the gym inconsistently for the last 5-6 years. I have never completed six continuous months at the gym but have regularly focused on mobility through daily body movements and occasionally through various cardio exercises. Now, I am quite frustrated with the typical gym culture and traditional exercises. For the past two months, I have been practicing basic calisthenics at home, but my apartment is very small, making it difficult to accommodate calisthenics equipment. My Questions: 1. Is it possible to build muscle and strength, along with a well-toned body, by doing basic calisthenics and posture-building workouts? 2. If so, how long would it take to achieve a strong, well-toned physique? 3. Do I need to rejoin the gym for heavy weight training? Is it necessary for maintaining long-term fitness and a toned body? I would greatly appreciate your thorough guidance as I’m feeling very confused and frustrated. Love from India, Wishing you a joyous and peaceful Merry Christmas. ♥️

Hi. I like to ask a question. I often wake up with back pain and just today, on Christmas, the back pain I felt before suddenly shot up when I sat on a toilet. Now I'm bedridden. What sort of exercise could I do to strengthen my back so things like this won't happen? If someone here is a scout or a personal trainer, I'd like some advice. Mum keeps saying I "lack exercise, lack exercise" but doesn't provide a solution to what kind of exercise I need to do. I do Emi Wong's 30 min full body workout maybe 2 times a week without the arm workouts, so what should I do?

Not a doc but as someone who has lived with 2 herniated disc for 25 years and never had surgery body weight hip hinges everyday helps me move pain free. The method in Pavel’s book Simple and Sinister taught me. Google it. And eating a nutrient dense anti inflammatory diet is very important; almost no sugar and no grains is the first step.

Do you have any tips for someone who is getting into fitness? I noticed my fingers are curling closed when I try to do even wall push ups. Is there a stretch or exercise to help keep my fingers flat?
@josephdillon96987 сағат бұрын
If you’re flexible enough I like to put my palms together with fingers extended like praying but behind my back. It opens my wrists and fingers a lot. But you really don’t have to go behind the back. I stretch my wrists a lot when I’m riding in the car stretching one wrist or fingers while in the car other hand on the wheel. If you need more full body stretching I advise yoga. You can go online and follow along with yoga classes. Because it’s body weight you don’t need to know much to follow along. You can pick up on it as you go along. It’s stretching but also it’s good exercise it works really well. Anyways it helped me I had a fluid filled knee and it’s gotten better with flexibility also my back is used to pull muscles a lot not so much anymore.

Hyperkalemia is a thing. I take potassium for cramps, and when I take too much (it's in a salt shaker) I start getting involuntary twitching in a few muscles, and if I flex too hard I can get a weird slow cramping. Solution: drink more water to run the excess out.

@thall38272 күн бұрын
Could you explain what you mean? I don't know why a bunch of veggies and a protein doesn't constitute a meal.
@AbiSaysThings2 күн бұрын
Probably shouldn't be your main fuel for the day but it really depends what your needs are, some salads can get pretty heavy
@thall38272 күн бұрын
@@AbiSaysThings that's kinda of what I'm saying. I could have a piece of salmon with a side of sweet potatoes, zucchini, and asparagus. Or, I could have a salad consisting of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot, sweet potato, and top with a piece of chicken or salmon, and it's the same to me.
@amalk97502 күн бұрын
Im just saying that lettuce and a little quinoa with chicken doesn’t realistically fuel you. I see a real meal as a protein with a superfood grain like freekeh, bulgar or barley with veggies sweet potatoes and a mixed nutritious salad that has dark greens and parsley. That’s just my perspective.
