Hey Devin, hope you’re feeling ok; you seemed a little upset & down on your last video and I understand.. things can build up and push you to the ground huh? Have to say, it’s very thorough in the USA isn’t it? As a rule in Britain, all decisions are left up to the next of kin (your husband if you’re married) and to be discussed with the clinician in charge, so we don’t have to worry too much about stuff like that. I have made a full legal will as I have a child and a mortgage! I’ve even had to include my dogs in my will: my brother gets them - lucky..!!! 🤣 Sooo grown up!!! Sucks though doesn’t it?! I’m glad you’ve gone through all this with us; it highlights just how serious these things are, kudos poppet! Now stay safe, stay sane and more importantly, look after yourself & your lovely husband... cuddles for your four paws too! 🐾😋

Not gonna lie, I've been struggling. A new video goes up tomorrow and you'll see the process of me getting hip injections, but let me just say that it did not go well. The pain has been terrible. But I'm still just chugging along, doing the best that I can. And today, I'm feeling grateful to feel well enough to get some stuff done around this apartment. Gotta take all the wins! 😂 In the US, all decisions are up to next of kin as well, so my husband would be the one to make the decisions. However, because I have a rocky relationship with some family members, I wanted to put it in writing that he would have the power. I wouldn't put it past some people in my family to try to completely take over if I didn't have a legal document put in place. But I think so many people, especially my age, don't even consider dong things like this and it is SO important. Planning for the worst case scenarios just means that if it happens, your family won't be put on the spot to make all those choices for you. I think it's an act of love.
