I don’t know if I necessarily view it as hating, but I do feel it was easy for her to have that opinion when teams she played on were loaded with talent - several or all 4 & 5 star recruits - and when there wasn’t as much parity in women’s college basketball as there is now (even UConn Coach Geno said as much last week). The other night in the worse game Caitlin’s has had in the tournament in two years she out scored Paige by four points, shot the same percentage, had twice as many assists and rebounds, and no one thinks anything of Paige putting up 17, hell they gave her player of the year averaging 18 even though Caitlin had better numbers across the board while they were both freshman too! (Google their stats from 2021, Caitlin’s are better across the board). Yet everyone agrees 21 pts, the exact same shooting percentage, and twice the assists and rebounds as Paige was a bad game from Caitlin cause we’re used to seeing her get 30 (on high efficiency). Throughout their college careers Caitlin has averaged more than 10 pts per game than Paige with twice as many assists and rebounds! Yet there are truly idiots who think Paige is as good as Caitlin, they say this because apparently Paige “effects the game in more ways guarding forwards and centers as well as guards on defense”. OR, is it because womens basketball has ALWAYS over rated things like Paige picking up a 6 foot forward on defense every once in a while when she and Caitlin are 6 feet themselves, LSU center Angel Reese is 6 3’ … Gobert wins defensive player of the year every year in the NBA and no one says he’s better than Steph Curry, while the female equivalent of Gobert, Alliah Boston is called the best player in the game while at South Carolina, who seem to be doing just fine without her btw… Caitlin stretches the floor like Steph, scores like MJ, play makes like Magic all while getting twice as many boards as Paige, I don’t care she guards a 6 foot 2 inch center sometimes she isn’t nearly the player Caitlin is and has never been! Which is why after being passed on by UCONN for Paige, Caitlin has now carried a far less talented team to the championship twice!

Outside of WNBA players . The Clark hate started AFTER the Reese hate !! One got praised for taunting, one got condemned. One demographic prayed for Reese to fail and one prayed for Clark to fail. People like myself treated BOTH taunts and players the same because neither did anything ,that we haven't seen done in sports .

One made a hand gesture to her strength and conditioning coach not opposing players. Reese got in Caitlin’s face after the game was won, made hand gestures and verbal slurs and followed Caitlin around for around ten seconds. There is no equivalency in the two behaviours. Everybody knew from that point on that Reese was just another punk that likes to bully people and they turned on her.
