Well it depends how you look at it. Only way to know is to test your hypothesis. Where is your evidence that there would be no reaction? True some people do exploit people's coming out or sharing of their identity to be a political us and them divide and rule outrage promoting agenda. Let's see what happens there will always be bigots. Still denying that there is a problem may turn a small issue into a huge one, unnecessarily.

Never heard so much bull***** come out the mouth of current and former players about this. It’s no different to Racism. In that players and fans who do not approve (and let’s face it there'll always will be); when camera’s, microphone and stealth could potentially mark the end, no one is going to respond negatively in an open manner were careers are at stake. So, Me. Patrick Bamford and Mr Julian Lescott your poor responses are not accurately reflecting the harsh nature and reality of the world we live in. I’ve seen this movie play out hundreds of times. You will never say how you really feel…… By saying our team mates at Leeds will not be shocked, sadden, or unable to say how they really feel is a JOKE! When your paid thousands of pounds a week and are financially well off who in their right mind is going to jeopardise and undermine the credibility of personal financial gains...........................Just like inequality, racism and lack of opportunity its going to take massive radical changes to see the end to anything like this. Generations have come and gone. It’s the same broken record all the time. But on a different day…. Say it like it is or don’t speak at all…. 👺
