Grunion run during daylight hours! Where on Earth does this occur (I did not hear the narrator mention a location)? Grunion spawning season happens along the coast of Southern California, too, but can only be witnessed at night. Nearing midnight twice a month (new moon and full moon) from March to August, the grunion wriggle ashore by the thousands to mate, using the highest tides of the month to deposit eggs (and fertilize them) in the sand as far ashore as possible. This BBC video is the first time I have seen the grunion spawn in daylight.

Beautiful, wild and amazing. What these fish can possibly be thinking? Are they conscious? What I see here is that they're driven by instinct. What makes them do that, this behavior.... how do they know that in sand the eggs will be warm? How can they possibly know what the sun is and what it does? (heating the sand, making it warmer)...and if they know that then they could possibly also be aware that the birds are there, though they sacrifice for the species? Very very interesting. Thanks for the upload!

We understand evolution, but we have a weak understanding of evolutionary biology and what is the information that's carried forward from generation to generation. In most cases of evolution, it's said that anything that made the species survive and evolve are the practices followed by the current generation.

I just think they somehow communicate it. I mean, wouldn't you go to one huge fuckpile where everybody's doing everybody? They do it on beaches, cuz they wouldn't have been born if their parents didn't do it on beaches.

@@Ust456 yes of course Allah would go to that fuckpile. He has called me his servant many times, and he has pleased me for it😏.

The IPv6 protocol does not use header checksums. Its designers considered that the whole-packet link layer checksumming provided in protocols, such as PPP and Ethernet, combined with the use of checksums in upper layer protocols such as TCP and UDP, are sufficient.

Would've been nice if they would've showed the development of the eggs. Maybe make a longer video with this content adding the development of the eggs. (Just a suggestion if anyone's monitoring the comments) Thanks 😊
