Alex I appreciate this video about why we are on KZbin and tbh when I was in high school my goal was to do it so I can have an easy living but as I got older I realized I want to do it cause it makes me happy and I genuinely enjoy doing it if it can be a way to make more money that would be nice but I'm happy where I am now even if I am not making money, also I would like to add on that I miss the old KZbin as well when people did it cause it was fun not some way to earn easy money. Another thing I want to add on is that I feel like that's the internet in general people selling themselves for money and its gonna worse with only fans and tiktok.

My music. I've tried the other sites. I do not like them; they're sloppily designed and convoluted. Plus every musicians music is on YT... for free. And self-publishing platforms are shady, along with spotify & apple music. I'm exclusively here and can communicate with my listeners if they ever want.

Have been on a spiral lately, been getting recommended a lot of similar channels and these type of talks are really great and it baffles me to realize how little views subs etc do these type of channels usually have, wether important or not, agree or not on the subjects and etc doesn't matter but its cool to know another person's take on things, idk, these type of videos are also like a loophole on society's rule or whatever of don't lay your weight upon others or upon strangers or barely acquaintances or regular friends, like arriving next to a random person and telling them for 8 mins why you love x thing, and in yt is like that random person is the one sort of actively looking for this other stranger to tell them their stuff out of nowhere wether he's interested fully or just mildly and if you don't want to deal with x subject you can skip or click out of the video or never watch it in first place by the title or thumbnail, and neither party gets ashamed for listening to it or not, or for saying x or not, it would be cool if on real life people could be open to stuff like that and you could just ask anyone if they want to chat about x and if they dont then they can just say that and everything would be ok no need for any party to be ashamed but yeah it doesn't have to be a stranger but if in the case you need it then it could be any stranger that has the time or interest, just to know that any other person can be there for you just like you could be there for them in case anyone else needs it and you have the time as well, like said don't know, just a random thought from a stranger to whomever stranger wants to read it, it's just, this is supposed to be a society right, i haven't looked up what the actual definition is but i think people are supposed to help each other in them, costs nothing to be a good person and no one is forcing you to, it just feels good to be one, is whats right and wouldn't anyone like to be helped when you're in the need of it; so thanks for these type of talks they're valuable at least for some if only the majority could appreciate them more and also thanks to the rest that have anything to share on the comments and aren't mean about it

I think you get it! And I also don't know the definition of society but the word I have been using, is "community" and how important are they? maybe more important than ever.

Loved this message. So weird that I see this video after having an existential crisis bc my channel after two years hasn't taken off and I want to start a completely different one next year but I can't let go of this one bc I liked it and bc of all the effort I put in. I feel so worthless honestly. Always wanted to do KZbin, find similar people with creative energy like me but it seems hard to make those kind of connections as well. If you want to have a chat on IG maybe it could do us both good. Btw I think in most jobs and fields you have to sacrifice some things and kinda sell your soul today honestly.

@@padmeasmr Thanks for sharing! 🩵 Yeah I was having one as well before I decided to film this video. I think the idea is to think about why is it that you want to do what it is you want to do, and then when you figure it out, letting go of any expectations. It’s difficult but we shouldn’t determine our worth based on if the numbers go up or down.

True and it's not just KZbin. The internet felt so underground back in the day and we had little communities all over the place. Now it feels so homogenous, like we're going from one Ad funnel to the next. Like we exist for the "algorithm" and not the other way around. But there are definitely people and creators and spaces that are authentic and not predatory, such as here.

Discovering channels like this make it clear what I expect from social media - moderately populated communities of people bonded by some interest. Channels, who make it big lose the identity and, I guess, have to detatch from the croud.
@AnLittleAlex
@AnLittleAlex 2 ай бұрын
@@Herofromspace2 It’s wonderful to support a person for their personhood rather than a soulless robot. Unfortunately, once someone becomes so popular (and/or rich) they naturally detach themselves from the rest of the world and traverses to the other side. It becomes more difficult to relate with them. You can see that most popular creators are simply just simple people, who stay themselves amidst the fame. It is difficult to do so, and takes a lot of self discipline.

the original youtube seems long gone. it was great as long as it lasted. hell i am not sure if i could have resisted the temptation of big money if i would have had the chance to get it. and i am sure there are many temptations, strange agreements and a lot of spoken and unspoken rules you have to follow and maybe loose your integrity along the way. i miss the old youtube too...and i am afraid it will not come back. but i hope you will continue making your videos and your streams.

The age old struggle of growing fame. The more the fame grows the more you lose yourself. Very few have been able to grow famous without doing something that crosses their moral line. Its admirable that as you grow your channel you keep this in mind. Keep doing your thing, Alex, you're doing good work! P.S. This video kinda lit a fire under my ass and inspired me to start uploading again. Its been at least a year or so since I did a lil talking head vid.

Hey Little Alex, The great thing about KZbin is that the sky is the limit. You're already doing really good. 1,000 subscribers is hard to get. It's very hard to grow at first. I think it's because it takes a while for your videos to find the right audience. You should get more comfortable as time goes on. Alex, you're growing every time you make a video. You're learning how to plan content, how to speak, how to host a show, how to have fun while streaming a live show, and how to consistently do something. Those are skills you will carry with you. You have plenty of time to grow. Usually, you won't see the fruits of your labor until later on. Remember what you do today will be your future. So, do amazing things today, and that's the best way to change the future. You never know, you might build a Little Alex Empire. Anyway, thanks for all the content.
