BB Hood was a main of mine at the arcade. I used to play her very aggressively. Turtling was really not an option with her. She basically was my rushdown character. She's trouble when you get in close with her. it's pretty interesting seeing you rediscover that even the bottom tier characters in MvC2 can be dangerous in the right hands. If you went to an arcade 20 years ago and it wasn't all metawhores, you'd see some wild shit.

The HK x missile spam is the best part of this character it's fun to whiff cancel one projectile into another :)

This has always been my go-to warmup team (IM/Juggs/BBH). Without fail, it always triggers people who don't have perfect defense or rushdown. I've racked up many win streaks with this at arcades and on MvC2 online (PS3/360). The braindead THC 100% and IM infinite is really dangerous, particularly once you're setup in the corner.

@@gengarisnotinsmash... I mean, I wasn't intentionally trying to be toxic but it certainly was the easiest way to get hatemail. I use this team because it very quickly teaches newer players that you MUST protect your assists and don't call them only blindly. Every time someone tried that with Psylocke, Commando, or Doom, I'd instantly delete them. That puts the opponent at a huge disadvantage. I've seen it so many times. People picking top tiers but they don't really know how to play the game yet.

BBHood's HK... the landmine, is CRAZY, it stays on the ground even if she gets hit.... if people is coming at you like a madman with magneto or something, just hit HK, they will get a hit on you, but the landmine will stop him from starting the combo, which is what you need, really. Her super also does CRAZY amounts of chip damage. Also, Ryu's shoryuken is FAR better support to Glitching Juggs than BBHood's missiles.... you should really use that... hahah

I'm going to have to disagree. I mained her in all my teams in the arcade version of MvC2. She isn't cheap. There is a window of recovery between mins and missiles that allow her to set p block stun. As long as you keep your opp off balance, she's a beast to 1C win a match. Granted this was back when you picked assists based on who you like and not how effective they were in any situation.

Depends on the game but most of that stuff listed is mainly learned through playing the game and learning from your mistakes. BB was my main and point character! When I first started playing I did not even know how to do super so I would just hit both triggers for the hyper combo. After going through every character I found that her super had the most hits so I figured that meant it was the strongest. Eventually I settled on the team of BB hood, tron, felicia. Because when you did a team hyper combo with them the screen is just filled with colors and projectiles. And if timed right, your opponent will still be getting hit with the combo from tron's lunch rush a few seconds after the ko. Definitely an insult to injury. I was definitely a nuisance online in the Xbox Live arcade days

Another good THC I like using is Cable, b.b. hood and War Machine (I use him cause he says “yahoo”). Anyway, I have war machine build meter through infinites, and tag in Cable for easy hit confirms with the heavy punch gun into THC, which normally kills on the spot.

Use standing HK to set a mine in front of you as a form of protection in front of you, it cannot be destroyed if you are hit and it's perfect for quick charging missiles to spam. Use Juggy's assist as both cover and a source of passive damage that can combo off the missiles. Powered up glitch if possible. Replace Ryu with Iron Man, Proton Cannon damage is superior, and he had vast options in comparison. I've been playing this team since 2006. It's nice to see them get recognition after all these years.

As much as I Hate Commando's AA assist you can build crazy meter while preventing rushdown with Bulletta's mine missile combo with that assist holding space, and when you THC with Juggernaut the Head Crush pushes them upward into Comando super. It's a Nasty team. Even if BB doesn't have the mobility needed to be top tier she is still my second in command.

i have the similiar team ñ, bulleta(bb hood) is my fav pj, is a nice super team... but what if u change ryu for another pj beam super, this team works very good with cable... b or a cable, b jugger, a bulleta, just make a little ground combo, Lp, Lk, ) Hk (opcional Hp three pistol shots) and super, this can kill two pj or almost entire team, i love do it this super xD

Mentioned that this setup isn't that great for assist punishing and I disagree. It kills assists just fine, and even hurting an assist enough can be a way to deter its use or set up a snapback. I don't think JM appreciates how fast the startup is either. It's a super easy punish. The only way it wont absolutely destroy an assist is if the main character's hitbox is too far in front and they absorb all of the damage, but there were a lot of times that this wasn't the case. Also I know it's fun to wait for 3 levels, but Jug+BB hood is like 80-100% on pretty much everyone.

My first play as bb hood with my main roster Cable and TBonne is RIDICULOUS: 1/ her cancel is dirty asfrick, not only she can cancel bombing on close proxy, she can out- right cancel bomb on Mid air. 2/ her Super is COMICALLY RIDICULOUS, imagine Cable lazer + BB's Squadron + TBonne ground control, you have 0 chance to escape let alone defense that barrage of super, i was LoL when witness the glory.

on defense to her missiles though, you'll never really use the missile itself, and only as part of a block string or a combo, as its very easy to punish with a super. Hopefully no one does that when facing a cable.
