But that’s the thing, Bats would find out Logan’s weaknesses before attempting to fight him. For example, Logan can be enraged easily and fooled into making mistakes. His skeleton is magnetic, Batman could easily whip up some kind of magnetic trap. Logan has acute senses, these could be overwhelmed by powerful sounds and smells. In short, I don’t think Batman would try and play wolverine’s game and get embroiled in a straight up brawl.

@SiKxJayTee Yes, I agree that Batman is equal or better in every department except healing factor (DC Earth is bigger, and has a higher gravity, than Marvel Earth, so even a regular human in DC is considerably stronger than a regular human in Marvel, which is why Batman, who's peak human in DC, is able to match Captain America, who's low level superhuman in Marvel). BUT, Wolverine is GOOD ENOUGH that, in a prolonged fight, he's eventually going to land a hit. And sure, Batman might see it coming and be able to block it or roll with it, but if it involves those claws.... See, that's the thing with Wolverine. Adamantium can cut through just about anything, and certainly through anything Batman has. But Batman doesn't know anything about adamantium or what it can do. So, when he sees the claws come out, which he likely would, he'd have no reason to assume that the blades were anything special, and he'd go to block the attack with his bracers or other armor, just as he would any other bladed attack. And when that happens, Batman would lose whatever body part got hit. Or, he'd be gutted. And any such injury would be CATASTROPHIC. Give Batman a healing factor and adamantium skeleton like Wolverine, and Logan is getting OWNED, every single time. But without those things, Batman simply can't beat Wolverine, unless he knows who he's facing and has time to prepare.

Only reason magneto could manipulate adamantium is due to his mutant ability of magnetic fields... It needs to be extremely powerful as adamantium isn't iron and is really low on the magnetic spectrum. Meaning the size of the magnet would have to be almost the size of a building if not bigger. Batman regularly handles opponents that overpower him. In a hand to hand fight, yeah, Wolverine only has to connect once to win. If we're allowing planning & prep-time, Batman has handled far worse. Wolverine is still vulnerable to magentism & has been gassed into unconsciousness before. (first Xmen movie) We've also seen him put in a position where he can't or wont unsheath his claws... so it is possible to contain and incapacitate him with enough money and time (and Batman has plenty of both)

Prep time is a total cop out. Plenty of other heroes use prep time as Batman not the only person to ever use knowledge come up with a better plan. Ironman builds entirely new suits around beating a certain individual. The Flash in his show will come up with a trick or device to bring his enemies down. Spiderman makes new webbing or some sort of device to help him win. Wolverine even used prep time in the Xmen animated series to defeat the Friends of humanity, he uses a device to boardcast their leader is the son of Sabertooth and Mystique, which caused them all to abandon him since they saw him as tainted. The irony is Beast was the one gotting berserker that episode as they kidnapped his girlfriend, while Wolverine was the one uses his brains to dismantle them without throwing a punch. Batman fans act like he's literally only person who can or will prep if given the chance. Plenty of heroes do this in comics, just The difference is BATMAN NEEDS PREP TO WIN...most characters don't.

Batman vs. Wolverine is like Wolverine vs. Hulk. Even tho stats should shut this down into a 2 second match and yet it’s very believable considering just the crazy feats each one has done individually. Batman kind of becomes superhuman from all the exposure he has from battling near-death experience and constant fights with guys in completely different leagues to even super powered Heroes. All the While Wolverine regularly pushes his limits and also fights Sentinels & O’mega Level Mutants & Armies. I’d definitely give Wolverine an triple-bladed edge in a random encounter but Batman almost always has some handy tools in his utility-belt a la exploding Bat Spray or Knock-Out Gas, that’s how Batman Stalled Hulk in a Crossover Comic. It doesn't matter how skilled Batman is as a martial artist; Wolverine is a mutant with unparalleled fighting skills, combined with a healing factor that makes him practically immortal, along with unbridled rage from trauma. And I haven't even mentioned Wolverine's adamantium claws. It's not only his claws you have to worry about, but his entire skeleton. Batman is a 100% mortal human being with Olympic-level athleticism. Sure, he's elite compared to an average human; he could have been a professional athlete easily, no problem. The point is, Wolverine fights with murderous intent, while Batman has a code. Never underestimate how much pissing Wolverine off focuses him even more on killing you. He's certainly had power creep like most characters who've been around for a while. But I would argue that Spiderman has such a strong moral compass that he naturally and instinctively pulls his punches so as to never risk accidentally killing or dismembering an opponent. The only exception to this would be if he's mind controlled or someone is dumb enough to attack him while asleep and his spider sense takes the wheel. In this way, Spiderman can play in the 'street level' sandbox, while having room to grow during crossovers with more powerful characters.

Wolverine is also kind of vulnerable to drowning. All the adamantium makes him incredibly heavy, and whilst he can swim, it's hard for him. Drowning also causes ongoing deadly damage, which will eventually overwhelm a healing factor. Chain Wolverine to a rock and throw him in the river, and he's toast.

Batman rarely straight up wins when he fights Superman. (Even in the Dark Knight returns, Batman just fakes his death to end the fight and he had back up hit Clark with a Kryponite arrow.)His tricks basically slow Clark down typically when he's mind controlled or whatever when they are fighting till Superman snaps out of it or stops fighting for whatever reason.. Batman more often than not just survives these fights, he doesn't actually win them.

Wolverine has so many advantages that I feel like he SHOULD be able to take down Batman but Batman is so skilled that I think in most battle situations he could figure out a way to incapacitate Wolverine. The heat of reentry will vaporize all exposed skin and tissue so that all that will be left is a super-heated adamantium skeleton that will slice through the atmosphere and strike the surface of the earth with the force of a tungsten rod dropped from orbit (AKA the energy of a small nuclear explosion). He'll then regenerate his tissue and go after Batman... if Batman somehow survived the prior blast.
