Bloomberg published an article about how hard it is to be a woman in America. Considering the fact that women can sit around and get paid to write articles about how oppressed they are, I don't think they're really oppressed.

@𝑀 𝐼 𝐶 𝐾 𝐸 𝑌 I actually read that as you think stay at home moms don’t work more then men .. define work ? It’s like women can’t win .. you either have to be a crazy feminist or a stay at home mom who lets men actually talk like they don’t work at home . Raising kids is work .. fyi .. nothing more insulting then saying mothers don’t work because they don’t bring in an income .. you try breastfeeding every few hours on no sleep while you clean the house and take care of other kids and yeah women don’t make money but could a man do that ? No there is a reason most men don’t stay home .. it’s not because working outside the home is harder ..

@@lucifernazaedi You're right in the sense that answering instinct is our first inclination, the same as it is for any living being on Earth. If we're raised right (these days, that's a big 'if'!), we give thought to doing something, we don't just act knee-jerk on what first comes to our minds. We're sinful, yeah, but we have it in us to be better than that. The woke clearly weren't raised right, or they're still at the developmental level of children. I would say you are not fully a conservative, but if you gave it enough thought, you could become one. Brett I love you and I love your channel so much. However, as an Egyptian living in Egypt (which is an arab country, and I think I can also speak for the rest of the arab countries that share the same values as we do), these statistics about arab women: only 48% have cell phones, only 25% of them work, and depression is the leading cause of illness - are all BS. In arab countries - just like the rest of the world mind you - almost all arab women have a cell phone if not two. There are more working women than men (maybe Saudi Arabia is the exception with the least number of working women). And depression does not phase us one bit (I think that as the arab culture tends to be more directed towards the conservative side, we can handle any kind of depression better than most). The problem here is, just like in the US with the far left, that most of these statistics are gathered from un-legit resources and agendas that want you to think that we are illiterate and uneducated people that live in huts and caves. And that is far from the truth. Yes our culture does not permit your version of women's' rights, but that doesn't mean arab women are suppressed, or are not respected and praised. Arab women have rights that fit our culture, and our religion actually demands us to give them the utmost respect possible. So please if you want to talk about other countries and their cultures, go visit them first. Don't rely on information from others or from internet researches that most probably won't be true. I'm sorry if I have bored you with all this and I do not mean to offend you in any way. I just want you to get your facts right. I wish you all the best and thank you.

My thoughts exactly. Women in Arab countries do in fact have rights as getting education, a job, choosing who she marries, getting a divorce, etc. The West seems to have a very wrong and outdated version Arab countries in their head. And neither are young girls sold into marriage, it’s actually very much forbidden to do so in Islam (since almost all Arab countries are majority practicing Muslims).

I've never understood feminism. I'm all for women having the same rights as men, but as far as reproductive rights are concerned, women have actually had more rights in the last 50 years. A woman has been able to terminate her pregnancy without having to discuss it with the biological father, yet men have been accosted by one night stands for child support that they can't opt out of, for a child that may not even be theirs. If he wants to know for sure that the child is his, he may have to petition the court to make the mother provide proof. Now, we have a bunch of emotionally immature little girls crying and stomping their little feet because, after 50 years of immorality and sexual depravity, the law expects them to be responsible with their bodies.

Woman have MORE rights in this world already. Not just "reproductive rights". Also at the job market. As a man it's a lot harder to find a job. You have to put a lot more effort into your studies at Universities (a woman can f*ck with the teacher) and so on. In my country Hungary there are a lot of jobs in hospitality for instance where they want ONLY woman as worker. Pubs are the best example. But if you are a woman you can work ANYWHERE you want. Despite this woman don't go to work in construction for instance and they complaining that as a woman HARDER to get a job so they either want a guy who earn a fortune or they becoming prostitutes either full time or part time.

Thomas Sowell talked about that when he debunked the wage gap. Feminists like to focus on wages, but, as he pointed out, earned wages are not the same as total, disposable income. Right now, my husband earns the money, but I do the budgeting and make 95% of the purchases for the household. Of course, we both talk to each other before making moderate-major purchases. You know, because we like each other...

That was seriously sick. What will become of society when one of the strongest bonds, that between a mother and her child, are destroyed for the promise of worldly success? Human value is undermined and their dignity will become unrecognized so the powerful can force their will.

I think conservatives are happier because in essence their stance is about protection. Politically, they’re fighting to protect something they have and love, the left are more fighting to get something they want. So if you think about it, conservatives are happy with what they have, leftists are unhappy because of what they don’t have

As a woman who grew up in the 70's, and entered the workforce in the 80's, I can say in all honesty I have never been treated as "less than" my male counterparts. Maybe that's because I didn't spend all my time whining about how oppressed I was and just did my freakin' JOB (which, incidentally, I was paid the same amount as the men in my field). There will always be those whiny idiots who feel like everyone is out to get them. It is up to us (the adults) to ignore them or at least ensure that their disgruntlement doesn't impede the business of normal society. I think where we went horribly wrong was to not do a better job of managing social media - which allowed these whiny fringe freaks to congregate online and develop echo chambers where they suddenly came to the mistaken conclusion that they are somehow now the majority.

"People have it way worse in other places, so stop complaining" is a fairly weak argument, tbh. I prefer the absolute position: "you're not oppressed. You have every right men have and few of the drawbacks: you can choose to have a career, a family, or both. You are not subject to the selective service act. You have doctors dedicated to your body. You get preferential treatment in courts, to say nothing of society writ large. You have all of this, yet you complain that you can no longer murder your children. Well, murdering children is an abomination and history will view you the same way you view history for your desire to murder your children. I hope you reach a level of notoriety that will cause historians to name you personally as someone who perpetrated and advanced one of the biggest genocides in human history."

The “50 years of prosperity” caused by women in the workforce was in fact 50 years of stagnated wages caused by women in the workforce diluting the labor pool so that men could be paid less if women could replace them. And even in fields (such as STEM) where there weren’t any women lining up to replace them, the wages were still depressed due to the influx of foreign workers and the legalization of outsourcing. Women did have a definite effect on the American economy, but it can be called “prosperity” only in the sense of GNP/GDP, which benefits Big Corporate almost exclusively. Yay womyn!

Not loosing sleep that women are told to take accountability by NOT federalizing the murder of unborn babies. If they want it that bad, then let men have the right to CHOOSE to support said child. But, we know that will never happen because men should be held accountable but when it comes to their actions? It’s always the opposite.

I agree with almost all of what you said except for the example of the arab women I think it's incorrect just like the 50 years of woman productivity. Most Arab countries are in the "third world countries" as a result of western colonization for centuries and got their independence with economic and political treaties that tied them to the colonials for ever. So unemployment stats you mentioned sounds like men and women stats. About women, In islam women can choose not to work and stay at home raise her children, her husband is required to provide. in general Muslim woman can live like a princess and her father and/or brother then her husband are required to provide for her. I can assert that muslim woman is way more happier than the western woman.

All respect to you, i love your content, but next time when you speak about Arab women do your research first. maybe talk to them and see if they are oppressed or not and i suggest talking to Muslim conservatives because they are the majority. The claims about that 48% only have phones and the claim about their freedom is laughable to me as an Arab. You claimed that conservatives in the west are happier than the rest because they have values and value family etc , in the same way, the arab world is more religious and more conservative so why you assume that women there are miserable, doesn’t make any sense

I'm at work, it's a bit stressful but I'm also contented, glad I have a good career, and even at times enjoying working with my co-workers. My wife is at home, baking cookies with our granddaughters. My son-in-law is at our cabin with my grandson, they are doing some work ahead of all of us coming up there later today, I'm going to drive my wife and our grand daughters and daughter. The guys are going to repair and seal the driveway tomorrow, the gals are going to cook and clean and probably shop. We probably are the most offensive scenario the left could imagine. We are probably about the happiest family you could imagine. The two data are related.
