Sling Blade was filmed in my hometown, so I’ve always been a Billy Bob fan. That was my high school stadium in the scene where Karl and Frank played football with the kids. My class was one of the last to play there. Ironically, we were called the Panthers, just like in Friday Night Lights. Sorta makes a full circle.

@@nopeteys2424 I agree, Billy Bob's is way better. People always bring up the AGS Pacino speech but the message in FNL is much better. One is about what it takes to win, the other is what it takes to be a righteous and honorable man. Winning really isn't important if you are the latter, because you've already won in the way that really matters.
