I appreciate this take on burnout! 💡 I've never made a connection about "shame-driven performance" and burnout. I recognize that this dynamic results in, for me, accumulated stress, pressure, and unrealistic/unnecessary expectations, which feeds back into that cycle of shame and, with it, thoughts of "not enough". Going forward, I can check in with myself around "What is currently driving or motivating how I interact with work?" and bring into awareness the amount that shame is contributing to it so that I can make a pivot 💝
