Sounds interesting Thanks for you honesty about 'investing in hotels' not a good idea and high maintenance fees and year round noisy with high volume of tourists going in and out. Normal it's a hotel but not to buy as a property for an individual.

Excellent episode and insights as usual. I went to Antalya (for 2 days) in 2019 and got a chance to see only a fraction of these amazing places. Stayed close to the Kaleici harbour and beautiful market and ate in the Square (Sandres Cafe) just below the hotel. It was just a short nice walk to Mall Antalya. Guess I will need to plan another visit.

I have sold Real Estate in the States for over 30 years and I am glued to your words and am wanting to come to Turkey and learn more. Is it hard to become a Real Estate broker? What is the average return on properties I know it can vary in different regions. In the states historically there is always a good return. The best investment. Location, Location, Location. Hi Peace Always, I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. In terms of climate, the winters are cool with many rainy days and warm sunny days. Up in the mountains, you'll find snow so that right there gives you an opportunity to experience two seasons in the same city. In terms of the atmosphere, it is very laid back and especially so in winter as it gets nice and quiet due to it being tourist off season.

Buying in TR is a nice idea, but... As a newbie planning to buy iam worried about the legal integrity and buying process, it's totally investment based, because interest rates on money us running at 27 pc which is horribly high and I worry about the shirt and medium term decision regards to Turkeys financial position regarding paying if it's loans coming up soon. All we hear us sales hype by you guys, what's the downside guys in all of this ? No banks cater for mortgages, home loans, why because of high interest currently either way your real estate hype needs to have the mortgage products offered by some specific property lenders do this is a minus certainly regards investment, this has impacted external interest and the boom build culture in Turkey, it's fine for buy to rent but what about mortgages at low interest like the UK ..this is not attractive and counter productive. The Government is not doing enough in Turkey ..how many people have 185 k us to fly to Turkey and open up his case and say here you are 185k .. give me the keys. Regards Turkey, I cannot see the demand continuing post covid,.. The UK is extremely well organised for property buyers, including government help regards deposits to buy guys..and paying half of the pp for first time buyers... Foreign buyers should have a lot more scope when financing homes in Turkey, you cannot say the market is healthy with ,17 percent interest on loans ... In the UK is currently 2 per cent on a repayment loan mortgage that's a huge difference, people want to own homes not rent to greedy landlords and be stuck paying dead money ..this is very bad to create a rent culture. Prices are reasonable, but to give the buyer, investor confidence mortgages must be offered but that s the problem with turkeys run away train interest rates which damage Turkey s lira strength ? With much hype on apartment sales it seems it's just about cash sales guys, and when the bubble bursts what going to happen to the investors.. it will then be the big sell of at greatly reduced prices I find the declared M2 sizes declared very cloudy and what about resale market ? Agents stretch photos to make rooms look bigger that's s real problem I've found in Turkey this practice should be stopped as it gives a false description. In Europe this is against the law unfair trading regulations act. Agents should have a license to offer services and adhere to correct working practice. Your video is interesting but it's just a rent hype .. no solution for mortgage buyers , banks that provide loans to investors in Turkey ..Turkey had s lot of empty apartments this is not good unsold and on bad areas like Essenyurt built on top of each other, clearly no building standards by developers ? So what's really attractive about Antalya .. cash buyers only !! By offering no mortgages you are killing the market for buyers with 50-60 pc deposits best to have this than nothing and offer 40 pc loans as standard ...without these products its never going to improve.
