This is such a treat. I miss this artist like I knew him, as we all tend to do with our faves. Just hearing his little self deprecating chuckle is heart warming. I quote his work daily, so he's never far, but his influence on the comedy landscape is missed, for sure. His irreverent, surrealist take on the buffoonery that is being a human will forever be funny to me. Thanks for another one 💗✨

Had tickets to see him when he came to my small town college. Had a gig that night, so I couldn’t make it. This was mere months before his passing. Apparently, he was about an hour late to his show, spotted at the Holiday Inn beforehand staring absently at his dinner. Dude went way too soon. Miss you, Mitch.

This is great, thanks for uploading. I’ve worked with comedians who were at that Kilkenny festival and apparently after a couple of shows word went round how amazing Mitch Hedberg was, so by the end all his gigs were packed with comedians- and the public- all trying to squeeze in. Amazing.

Mitch was noticeably different with Nealon, in a great way. I could see how Shawcroft fell for her sweet & handsome writer/director of ‘los Enchiladas.’ RiP, Mitchell I was a Nealon fan before becoming a Hedberg fan, and I’d bet Mitch had admiration for Kevin’s comedy too…they’re on the same avenue, but have different mailing addresses. I loved seeing Mitch like this, because it was more like dropping in on friends chatting, but in a time before that podcast feel had a name. thank you, mister Kevin Nealon, for posting this (timely interview) for us. I’ve enjoyed your hikes, dreamy eyes & smooth skin

I worked at the Cat Laughs Festival in Kilkenny for a few years. The lineups were amazing for years. Zach Galifianakis, John Mulaney, did shows before they became famous. Bill Murray did Improv with George Wendt one year. I wish they got more US acts over in recent years I believe management has changed since I worked there. Also Ireland banning drink sponsorships for festivals probably cut off some funding. I wonder if Mitch and Kevin ever played the Ireland vs Internationals soccer match they do on the Sunday.

Damn, one of the comedy GOATs. He was ahead of his time, or maybe he was just a head. If he would of have lasted until tik tok & insta he would of ruled supreme. His comedy is perfectly bite sized for those formats. Fck, i hate the fact that when i discovered him on Tik Tok, he was already gone.
