Intellect matters. Darkseid is universal. Apocalypse strains to rule Earth in minor ways. I do like the idea they both make some very powerful toys with minimal effort. But Darkseid is a Cosmic form, much bigger scale threat, of Apocalypse.

Umm. Writer Dependent. SUPERMAN! can 1 v 1 Darkseid (of course, he'd smack Diddy on Apocalypse too easily),.. but Darkseid's primary benefits are extreme Durability, his Omega beams,. and an Army of Parademons and weaponry,. Notwithstanding certain situations like finding the Anti-Life Equation, or some other external power source/weapon, there are a Great many who can beat Darkseid,...(even BATMAN! managed to do it) 👍👍

If we are talking when Darkseid when he was a Multiversal being, and his presents in any reality will destroy it. Then Darkseid wins. But if we are talking Darkseid before they turned him into Multiversal , I say Apocalypse. Now that Darkseid is no longer a Multiversal being, but is more powerful then he was before the Multiversal thing was done. Then Darkseid would win for a time. The thing with Apocalypse is he has only really gone full out like maybe twice, and drops everyone. Mostly alternate realities don't count, but some have shown what he can do when he fully unleashes or at full power. He doesn't usually cause it'll burn out his body, forcing him to go into stasis or find a new host body. If he ever finds a host that can handle his ever growing power, then he will become a Celestial and that means he'd be a Multiversal being. Apocalypse's powers are still evolving, and he can give himself any power he wants among other stuff. So in the long run I'd go with Apocalypse.

Apocalypse beats OG Darkseid no diff, multiversal being Darkseid wins no diff, and Darkseid now Apocalypse in the long run cause there is nothing Darkseid can do that will kill him off for good.
