Leicesterd put a pricetag of 30-40m pounds on him. We are in desperate need of at least one CDM, preferably two, a LB and at least two CB's and a striker, but we only have 150m... We don't need Dewsbury Hall. That would bench both Bruno and Mount or Mainoo, while we remain total shit in other positions... Personally I'd be quite frustrated if we spend 30-40m on him. If we are looking at No 8, (which we should not do unless we're at the end of the window and managed to sell lots of players) than for the money there are better options imo

There are many more better options Drewsbury, just for instance Desire Doue who is 18, costs 20m, can play LW, CAM & RW and he is better than Drewsbury. He could replace rashford or bruno. But again like you say we have other positions that are more crucial like 2 cb.

We need to cut our losses on Mount and move on. This guy is better, stronger, faster and more mobile. We need a mobile midfielder like him to compete with Bruno, one experienced CM like Tielemans or Rabiot and one very press resistant CDM like Bruno Guimares and our midfield is perfect. I think we should go all out to get bruno Guimares, he’s like 2 players in one. Best in the league in that position after Rodri and Rice.

@@maxwellgonzalez4763 Mount cost 55m, hardly played, but still managed a banger goal. I'm very curious to see more of him instead of writing off 55m. Bruno Guimarães would be awesome, but City is in a late stage of signing him already, apparently for 100m BP... we don't have that kind of money to spend on one player... for some reason prem players are extra expensive too, even if they aren't homegrown. For 100m I'd sign Joao Neves, but we don't have that kind of money... Palacios is a killer too and probably about 50-60m. Stiller, Wieffer, André, Caqueret, Keita all good and transformative CDM signings for 30-40m. And like @Amanikibola said, there's better options for 40m like his suggestion Désiré Doue or my favorite Orkun Kokcu

Considering the fact that we have mount and Bruno I doubt United will spend on that role I think in the midfielder they will spend on someone like Onana who can play deep

@@danieledem4223 we should still be looking for a 6. We have maino as a fairly balanced 8 and mount as a more attacking option already. Not gonna have that much money in the summer and have much higher priorities

Good bench option wouldn't say no to him a good replacement for Eriksen or Mctominay but we need a natural 6 that should be our main priority like Zubimendi or Varela

Excellent vid. He looks good but if he's a left half space player, where does that leave Bruno? Or is D-H the long term replacement? I can see how he raises the floor in squad but presumably this means Amad will only play as RW, not as 10. And haven't even mentioned Mount. D-H could be the 8-10 hybrid United need. Keep up great work.

I almost can't think of anything until there are upgrades on this year's Casimiro, Amrabat, at least 2 of the CBs, perhaps an upright Left Back, another CF. How long can Bruno continue doing everything creative behind the forward line without 6 months out soon, himself, I often wonder. But perhaps that is the point of Mount, though there is Mainoo...

The question with player that came to United side is, can he adapt to the "no-system" system. So far I don't see any obvious style of play from ETH. True we need players that can create more chances for Hojlund and can retain more possession for the side.. But, what is the system?

Completely agree, both good options. Mats Wieffer, Angelo Stiller, Martin Zubimendi, Maxence Caqueret, all good options, my personal favorite would be Exequiel Palacios

From an eye test point of view, he offers everything mount does and will given high fitness level. Perhaps at most , he is squad player. Mufc is prioritizing a hybrid possession based 6/8 given the fluid position change style of play.

Nice analysis and I agree, not a player we need presently. We need to sign two 6's so that we can stop suffering watching either Casemiro or Mctominay play that position and leave us exposed. We signed Mount as an 8/10/7/11 hybrid so let him fit in as needed. Any other midfielder but a DM and we know we are in for another season of pain.

I think the issues we have slow central defenders that can't really play on the halfway line we haven't got the work rate in the middle of the park and up front even though we have high turn overs our final ball, decision making, and our player chemistry is poor

If I was doing recruitment and I bought Drewsbury-Hall, I'd also buy an out and out ballwinner like Palhinha and have someone cheap like Andre understudy him. It'd mean I was phasing Bruno out and we'd be changing our style of play to be primarily possession based. I'd change 70% of our center backs, leaving Martinez and Kambwala, and adding on Lucumi, Todibo and maybe the Anselmino kid. I'd also replace Rashford with Summerville, Wan Bissaka with Bah, promote Amass and lose either Shaw or Malacia depending on the nature of the latter's injury issue. Obviously I'm dreaming and even if this was to be done, it's not like anyone can guarantee it would work.

Ajay you are right..he doesnt fit profile of ETH or any future coach appointed. He is what Alex furguson envisioned mac tominay potential to be. At best a squad player i think.

I am not sure the link is serious, we need to focus on deep lying midfielders so that Mainoo can be an 8, preferably replacing Casemiro with 2 absolute bouncers to cover grass and win and progress the ball, 2 so that we can rotate them and have squad depth, even if cheap muscle, we need ball winners to screen the defence which is more capable of playing ball, i am confident that Todibo will arrive, Todibo with Kambwala as a deputy sounds solid for right centre backs, we'll need another left sided centre back and a left back, maybe left back depends on what's happening with Shaw-Malacia-Amass-and even Alvaro coming back, i hope Benfica doesn't buy him and we retain him, and he can play with us, that can help us save in a left back with Alvaro and Amass in the pipeline for rotation, we already have so many holes in the defensive roles in the squad, I don't think Hall will arrive unless Scott is sold, but then we anyway cannot afford another goal scorer, especially a header magnet like Scott has become, and in present budget we might not be able to bring proper goal scorer in market, I'd rather prefer Wheatley and McNeill stepping up instead of selling them, because we anyway are not getting much from academy sales. People are really underestimating how difficult sales, purchases and replacements will be, we shouldn't do a clear out like Chelsea and look clueless with a random bunch in squad.

@@femi_danjuma I am not sure it should be him, you are right, I understand we need another midfielder, but I'd prefer someone who can play deeper role, you have Bruno, Mount and Mainoo for more advanced midfield positions.

He's a good squad player, but we need to stay away. The club already signed Mount, and I have no clue why. If we sign Drewsbury Hall then im even more confused with Mount. Id genuinely rather see Mejbri given game time than spending money on Drewbury. And I want Mejbri sold with a buyback, lol. We need to invest money on different profile midfielders than Hall. And even after Mejbri, we have a lot of cams coming through the academy. Forson, Fletcher, Scanlon even Mather can play etcetc. This isnt a priiority deal.

Mainoo, Dewsbury-Hall, Mount would be better than with Bruno in my opinion. Bruno is a better player than Mount but as for the contributions to the united midfield I think Mount fits better. Mount runs more, defends better, and also his creativity and goal scoring is not that far off from bruno. You need a lot of more work to do to compete with arsenal and city but the main thing is to move away from Bruno.
