the New-to-Winnipeg HC change; let's be honest- he's starting fresh, and for good reason. You really cant have their burned out favoritism, two-faced dynamics and "he said, she said" plaguing the lockerroom while rewarding someone for managing it. Calgary didnt promote someone quick after Gio left: it's not a requirement in all cases.

Honesty man, I have never been a fan of Scheifele or Wheeler since the team started falling apart. Both of those guys are super tight and from what I have read, picked on Laine which is the antithesis of leadership. Wheeler sounds like a real pant load and as you say, being demoted from captain is rare. I agree, I don't think he'll ever be a captain again and that's a good thing. The Jets are a mess right now as PLD appears to be on his way out as well. It's a real shame because it looked like the Jets were really going somewhere. I don't think there is enough really good hockey content on youtube. I think this extra channel will work out great for me because you and Rob Talks hockey are the only hockey channels I really trust and I'm constantly on the lookout for good hockey content. Trust me, it's hard to find because most of the stuff out there isn't great. Go Sens!!!!!!!!

As a Jets fan Wheeler was a good captain at the time, after the disappointing 2021-22 we needed a new coaching staff and identity. IMO the Laine situation sounded like Laine is a type of player that blames everyone else for his problems and a bit egotistical and Wheeler doesn't put up with that. Mind you that people become retarded sheep because they believe everything the internet says. Good vid as usual. I think Connor, Ehlers or Morrissey should wear the C next.

wheeler is an awful captain and very over-rated. despite being huge, he doesnt play hard or d... hes like willy nylander, but older shitier and not supposed to be the best player lol... aside from that hes good lol.
