The gun debate in this country doesn't happen because those who advocate for gun control never want to engage in an open and honest debate.
They use emotional tactics like traumatized, scared and highly impressionable Kids as Human shields to shut down debate that would expose the weaknesses in their agenda and avoid facing opposing arguments.
Recently, I was invited to an OFFICIAL debate on gun control and the Second Amendment with none other than David Hogg, a well-known gun-control activist.
You won't believe what happened next! As soon as Hogg learned that I'd be who he was debating against, he backed out of the debate! Surprise, surprise!
But enough is enough. I want this debate to happen for the people.
We all deserve to hear both sides of the argument so we can make informed decisions about gun rights and gun violence.
I, too, am invested in finding solutions to gun violence ; this conversation needs to take place, not just for us, but for our communities.
So, I'm asking you all to refrain from harassment or name-calling, as that's not productive. Instead, let's unite and send this video to David Hogg with the hashtag #DebateColionNoir. It's time for an honest and public discussion about guns in America.
Let's stand up for our rights, for the truth, and for the future of our society. Together, we can make a difference.

David had a Reddit history that got uncovered, where he was revealed to have been from California before his family moved to Florida. He had a Reddit account where he admitted that: He hated that school He was trying to get discovered on TV at multiple points He complained very angrily about how he had good grades but his standardized test scores were too low to get into a good school And after Parkland, he parked himself in front of those cameras, and used the tragedy to get discovered and accepted into Harvard He is, by all counts, an opportunist, who used the tragedy to get everything he wanted. I don’t think it’s wrong for the kids to want to protest gun violence, not at all, they were directly impacted by it and it’s their right as Americans, but David propped himself up to fame on the backs of the students that were lost.

He is not an opportunist. David Hogg is the son of an FBI agent, he admitted this himself. If you watch his videos, he is clearly faking/lying about being a shooting survivor. And finally, it is an awful big coincidence that David Hogg with his eyes wide open, matches up perfectly with that infamous photo of Adam Lanza.

Yep, it’s commonly accepted that David wasn’t even at the school when it got shot up. He showed up half an hour later just to jump right in front of the cameras. There were also talks because his father being part of the federal police (maybe FBI, but I don’t really remember). So there were theories this was another excuse by the feds to control guns.

Every anti-2A argument is so easy to debunk and most anti-gun people don’t know the first thing about firearms, ammunition or basic knowledge. They just repeat the same retarded talking points and they think AR-15’s are some “weapon of war!” They usually will agree with outlandish claims, like we don’t want to take away your right to bear arms. “We just want these weapons of war off our streets!” Then you show them a wooden hunting rifle chambered in .308 or whatever and they say…”oh no those are okay!” They literally have no clue and it just becomes embarrassing to them! I think if David Hogg actually tried going to the shooting range…he may just enjoy himself. However we all know he wouldn’t be caught dead doing so, these people have no interest in facts, they don’t care about our opinions, they just want to make us all look like crazed killers! Okay so do you believe that previous generations were less free than the current one when it comes to gun rights? Because gun rights activists today are way more extreme than most gun enthusiasts before the Revolt in Cincinnati in 1977. Before then, the NRA was a gun hobbyist group that largely focused on emphasizing the importance of gun safety and responsible gun ownership. The fact of the matter is that since 1977, the gun lobby has moved the Overton window on this issue to the point where the most extreme gun enthusiasts are controlling the narrative and are trying to gaslight the entire nation into believing that things have just always been the way they are now. Meanwhile you are ignoring concerns from gun owners who do think that some additional regulations need to be introduced, going as far as to make the absurd claim that such people want to "ban all guns." Stop pretending like you are acting even remotely reasonable when your movement has devolved to the point where they are actively trying to remove gun safety training requirements for firearm ownership. At this point it almost seems like you're trying to ruin your own hobby just to own the libs.

Define "weapons of war" and give examples of which civilian weapons currently available meet the requirements for that classification. Now do the same for "assault" weapons. Then explain to me why it is that these civilian grade weapons, which supposedly have military grade destructive capabilities, are not standard military issue and never appear in the hands of US soldiers on the battlefield.

@@garymccray7822 Good job on avoiding addressing a single one of my points and instead muddying the waters by bringing up an entirely new topic. Unlike you, however, I will at least address your questions. Anyway, I'm not going to pretend to be knowledgeable enough about this subject to make a decent enough assessment about what regulations should be implemented, but I do think that some of the more recent deregulations need to be rolled back. A good example of this is Texas' recent lifting of gun safety training requirements, which seems to fly in the face of everything a gun enthusiast has ever told me about responsible gun ownership. Typically when someone at a shooting range handles a gun in an unsafe manner, they are chastised by all other gun owners in attendance and are often kicked off the premises, depending on the severity of their negligence. Why would you want such people to be allowed to open carry in public if they can't even be trusted at the gun range? Now as for where we should go from there, I would say it needs to be discussed and debated, but the pro-gun lobby has been completely hijacked by the most extreme elements of the pro-gun crowd and they are unwilling to even come to the negotiating table without throwing a tantrum. Personally, I think we should adopt a model simular to what the Swiss have, who passed sweeping gun control laws in 2001 after a mass shooting and not only have they not had one since then, they are still have one of the most thriving gun culture in the world. Try going to Schützenfest and telling all in attendance there that they "aren't really free" and they have had their gun rights taken away, you'd get laughed at in your face.

As a gun owner myself, there are times I get dragged into a lot of anti gun rhetoric; all you can do is state the facts and believe staunchly in what you're saying WITHOUT getting emotional. They do that because debate is really a no win situation for them. As is, they don't *need* to debate anyone - they can say whatever they want and the media will run cover for every single nonsense, garbage, dishonest, manipulative, and stupid thing they say. Have a debate, however, and the left loses. Now they can't just say whatever they want with no fear of reprisal or response of any kind, but the media cannot protect them nearly as well without rhe leftist and the media looking really, really bad. They have no incentive whatsoever to *ever* debate anybody.

@LegendStormcrow well, that's not really true at all. Pretty much all of the most influential pundits on the right are more than happy to debate anybody who will have them. Shoot, the whole "ask me anything" Q and A session thing has pretty much become ubiquitous on the right, and is exclusive to the right. Even relative small fry like Sean Fitzgerald, the Actual Justice Warrior, is willing to debate just about anybody who's willing to stick to the field he knows about. Half these people are very public about offering to debate people on the left, in fact. This definitely is not a "both sides are equally bad" problem.

It has always been a sore point with me. Calling it gun violence gives credibility to the idea that guns have the ability to cause violence which is like saying a hammer builds a house, which it cannot do.
